Incidental or even accidental contact leading to injury or potential injury I can deal with. Hitting a player who is vulnerable and unprepared is cowardly. I think the refs and the NHL got this one wrong, especially if they want to see this kind of hit out of the NHL. It has little to do with the outcome of the game, the Sens didn't match the intensity of the laffs and the scoreboard showed that. And that is why the laffs are ahead of us in the standings. Having been a laff fan for the better part of 20 years and watched them suck so bad I can honestly say it's about time they had some success. I'm sure the long awaited fans who also went through the 48 years of sucking and no playoffs for 11 years are thrilled at the play of late. That doesn't mean I dislike them any less. Laffs still suck IMO and if they do make the playoffs I hope its a sweep in the first round and they are gone so I can rub that in too. Remember the collapse against the Bruins? Epic

No, I'm bitter because a repeat offender took liberties with crushing a player, from behind, head first into the boards and none of my team had the nads to permanently remove him from the game. And yes, I hope Kadri gets his like the dirty player he is.....boo hoo ...big surprise!!!

That hit by Kadri was a momentum changer. Kadri should get 6-10 games for that. And I hope the next time we meet, he leaves the ice on a stretcher. Brutal call. All said, the Sens couldn't keep the pedal to the metal and couldn't shut down kesel.

Yes, lots of fun. Those are Beavertails http://www.beavertailsinc.com/ Deep fried pastries and you can pick the toppings, Robin had sugar and cinnamon, I had lemon garlic and cheese. Very tasty nice warm treat while taking a break on the ice. They sell them right on the canal, of course hot chocolate is a good chaser. Yummy!

Hockey day in Canada means hitting the ice, or better yet, the canal in Ottawa. Plenty of skaters out, conditions are perfect and my daughter Robin and I did the full length round trip from Dows lake to the parliament buildings, about 14kms. Tasted a couple beavertails, took in the awesome scenery and she got a game day skate before he midget AA game tonight. So much fun, happy hockey day in Canada to all, get out and enjoy! Laffs suck

With the laffs 11 and 5 in their last 16 games, I'd say it's only a matter of time, and looking like it won't be long before the laffs are on the outside again. Where they belong!

Naw, not like me to rub it in! I like to stick to the facts and stats. Like, did you know the laffs are outscored 17 to 5 in the last 8.5 periods? That's less than a goal a period for and 2 goals a period against! But it's not nice to be so hard on them, cause you can see they are really really, really trying hard.
