  1. I said the same thing to a buddy who's a die hard scabs fan.....it didn't go over well..lol
  2. Wow, I totally agree on your Habs evaluation! They have a really hard year ahead....can you say shakeup???
  3. RIP Gord, a constant source of musical enjoyment for me and my wife for many many years. I saw them 7 times including the farewell tour in Ottawa
  4. Of course I watch the laffs. Where else can you get so much enjoyment out of watching a team fail over and over and over? Nowhere else in all sports teams ever lol
  5. Aren't you shooting yourself in the foot with that comment? lol
  6. So proof of the saying " can't fix ......." lives on. That quote is so unfair to a kid who hasn't proven anything yet. God forbid if Matthews stumbles a bit and doesn't live up to your expectations and anytll you laffites come down on him anytll his confidence is crushed. Same old laffs fans, that is why you haven't won squat anytllndnd no one like to play in Toronto.
  7. Typical first game back from a road trip game. ugh
  8. I was delusional when I was a laffs fan, all better now! Should be a good game Sens - laffs on the weekend! Gotta start working on my banter now!
  9. And that's why your sad sack team has lived in the bowels of the league for the last 50 years lol. Did any of you laffites see the article about Matthews quite likely being the first bonified superstar the laffs have ever had? And I wouldn't even put him in the top 10 in the league!
  10. I think all the teams need to be concerned lol https://www.thescore.com/nhl/news/1399130-golden-knights-become-1st-team-in-91-years-to-win-4-of-first-5-nhl-games
  11. when something relevant comes from the laffites.....ummm never mind!
  12. The laffs barely squeak out a win against the lowly scabs and you guys are cheery about it. The Sens dominate 2 game for 2 wins and a 12-1 goal differential. That is the difference between a team with depth skill and a team with youthful enthusiasm and no defense and mediocre goal tending. It's no fluke the Sens went to double overtime against the Stanley Cup Champions in the conference finals last year and they are hungry. They sit tied in the Atlantic and did it without their top guy who is arguably the best player on the planet. They sit without a regulation loss and against McDavid and the high flying oilers.
  13. Im sure the laffs are used to giving happy endings!!
  14. I see the laffs are on the normal track again! Now they will run around bumping into each other in a lost comedic state .....queue the Benny Hill music!
  15. Ummmm...nope. Still loath the laffs and everything they do and stand for! Just like you laffites hate the Sens. Can't argue with the skill of Matthews though, but he's no McDavid. Quick out of the gates and the youthful enthusiasm will not be enough to over ride the stench of failure deeply entrenched into laff culture. That said, I'm still expecting the laffites to heighten their overconfident, pompous arrogance! That's a given.
  16. Certainly a step up from 50 years of sucking. I can see how there would be some optimism in the laffs fan ranks. They will never keep up the pace and there is bound to be some injuries at some point. Enjoy it while you can laffites! Personally I ...........well, you know!
  17. Hows that working for you lmao
  18. Ummm.....no! But for the record I just bought tickets to the Sens Laffs game on Jan 20 in Ottawa. My uncle and cousin, who are both laffites and live in Toronto, are the lucky ones to be joining me. I can't believe I bought tickets for laffs fans...ugh. I will proudly wear my Sens jersy (PRAISE ALFIE) and watch the Sens pound the laffs.
  19. So sorry to hear of your loss. My condolences.
  20. wow! I guess you got me there eh?
  21. Lot's of good in Ottawa. The laffs have sucked for 50 years! How can you talk good about a team that has done absolutely nothing , no accomplishments, for 50 years?????? You can't erase history.
  22. Murphys point. Big Rideau lake
