A couple other things that I thought were very interesting was that when I was in to see him I was looking around at all the gadgets and machines hooked up to him when I noticed the BPM.(beats per minute) I watched these then a lightbulb went off from what someone had said in the other post about letting him know you are there and I started talking to him and watched his bpms go up and when I stopped they went down did it a few times to be sure but the little guy knows we are there. Mom noticed also that his two right fingers were blue and we brought this to the nurses attention and she said it was an arterial thing, so she said she would warm up the opposite hand?????We were puzzled untill she did this about 1 min. later the fingers were nice and pink again I guess his heart didnt have to work so hard to get blood to both with one hand warm. This may come in handy for someone with bad circulation or maybe even frostbite not sure if it works on big humans????The best part of all was when my brother had his hand in the incubator just touching his hands and mom and I asked if we could touch and he said yes, so I put my finger in the palm of his hand just the tip of my finger barely thats when the nurse came and asked if I was the father and I was told nobody but the parents right now. This is because of how susceptible they are to infection which makes great sense we are just anxious and now we know they were not told this from the begginning so it was thought to be alright. So I am first family member besides mommy and daddy to hold his hand

I received a call at work from my mom monday morning at 9am telling me that they thought that Jens water had broke, and to see if I was available to drive her to Mt. Sinai. She was not having contractions yet. I told her I would let my manager know at work that if I received the call that I would be leaving. Agonizing day 10am....11am...12pm still no call? I called mom and they had told her that Jen may not have contractions for days. So now I'm not really expecting to leave winding down the end of my day then at 3pm mom calls and we gotta go the baby is coming. So off to the hospital we go got lost twice downtown Finally we arrive and we had missed the labour by about an hour and a half. We missed out on seeing him then so we had to wait until he was placed in the incubator. Anyhow beautiful baby boy he is actually breathing on his own and they said they were going to remove the cpap tube and switch to a different type which is very positive. Ma and I went into see him today and he was kicking his legs around and moving his arms quite a bit looked very active. Pics to come as soon as dad or martycoo send me some.

I don't think it was wave action I can attest for that I was on the bay from 1am till 11am the next morning and it was calm until then the waves didn't pick up untill later in the afternoon between 1-3pm definetly a leak somewhere.

Well Mom is home and she says that Jen hasnt had any contractions since fri night, but she is still dialated they say the baby is only between 2-3lbs but everyday it gets better. Apparently this could go on for months they say. So we will be making trips to Mt. Sinai often to keep Andy company. He has no bed and cannot afford to stay in a motel for that amount of time, they gave him a lounge chair to sleep in. Thanks again to everyone for prayers and votes of confidence I'm sure they will be heard.

We fished Belleville area and came home with eight yesterday. YUM!!Nothing today had a small pike hit right at the boat and lost her as quick as I had it on. No idea on results think I heard biggest fish in Belleville was 8lbs. Got one helluva a sunburn on my face and had a great time my new boat ran great and actually helped a guy whose motor broke down towed him aways and then he got it runnin watched till he made it back to the dock. Awesome time gotta live with my new/old boat..LOL!Always next year????We were gonna hit hay bay and long reach but ended up sticking around in case the baby came....

Thanks for the generous offer verno I called my dad about five minutes ago things are fine and everyone except the soon to be parents are coming home until it's time for him to come into the world.We all live in belleville so not to too far.Thanks to all for the support.

wow nice cat jen I've yet to get a catfish unbelievable because everybody fishin with me gets em.All I seem to get are walleye.

Heard from my dad who is at Mt. Sinai (think thats how its spelled) and things are alright the baby has a strong heartbeat and they are going to try to hold the labour off for as long as they can. WOW the suspense is killing me!So hopefully all goes well godwilling and I'll have a brand new nephew Sunday or Monday and I'll dedicate this opener to the lil guy hopefully I can make him proud and catch a winner before I have to run to Mt Sinai. Pipe dreams LOL. and thanks to everyone for prayers and kind words. Now if I can get my wife to stop worrying.....and I'm sure prayers from home will be awesome dsn tyvm.

it is a certain type of fern isnt it do you have any pictures and some ideas of where to find em. probably lightly shaded areas I remember people picking them at cfb trenton golf course. LOVE EM and some puffball with some butter and garlic. YUM...

My mom called me tonight when I came home from work and they have airlifted acms fiancee to toronto hospital she is in labour and not due until July 30th. Acmangler is my little brother. I hope and pray all goes well I'll be off to Toronto this evening or tommorrow morning all thoughts and prayers appreciated.

"bump" sorry kinda was wondering if anyone knows hate to be out on the water and have a problem with it with my children on board.

just wondering if there is a certain time this should be done or is it only done when it isn't quite working properly any help would be appreciated. I bought a boat last year and have no idea when the last time the trim fluid was changed? It works fine now but...Bigcliff or anybody else some help would be awesome ....CHEERS!

I guess I owe alot to Skevys outdoor specialties on dundas st. Belleville, this year Ron hooked me up with awesome lively minnows that lasted for weeks without airation. I couldn't believe it caught all kinds of fish this winter averaged one fish per outing on the ice. I fished a total of 15 times this winter and Rons' spots always produced and his bakers dozens are the best I've seen this side of the bay bridge. Just figured I owed him one THANKS RON!!!

Ok posted about a week ago about the oil leak from bottom fill screw. When we took the screw out we discovered no o ring so I was quite surprised because we cracked it last year after i had drove it twice on the water to check the oil it was welded on there. Wasn't ran after that. When we did crack the screw off last year he had to give it a bang with a hammer. I'm thinking that the aluminum and steel screw had some sort of reaction that sealed it PHEW!! I know this happens becuase I have aluminum rims and the lugs sometimes give me a time because they almost weld themselves on there. Oil looked awesome that came out just like the oil I put in Also installed a kicker mount for my 9.9 yammie to go on gonna take some pics of her tommorrow and put em up to see how I did and see some ideas on how I can control kicker motor with steering wheel.
