You have a great gift, being able to not only visit magical places like this, but capturing their essence. Another awesome photo essay, one I particulaly enjoyed, me being a laker-holic and all
-
I like how you attached your outriggers lol!
Nice bass too
-
Real men lip their pike

Those are some big berthas...hard work payed off
-
You've officially sent that poor kid spiralling into a life of beer bellies and sunburns...nicely done
-
Cool report. Looks like a real gem of a lake to have so close to the city center
-
You're thinking of da govermint...

They don't scream like a king but I'd take a boat load of those piggys any day of the week.

Sitting behind a control on nights all weekend
My panel is about 50 feet from the Ottawa river, which realllly helps

Buddy should consider himself lucky...a wolf that size could have tore him to pieces with little to no effort, seems like the wolf wasn't actively trying to kill him or even hurt him...pretty brazen of a single wild dog anyway!

Yeah, I'm lucky if I can keep my sierra (5.3) under 15 /100 (avg...mostly driving around town and bush roads)

^ like this right:
Hahaha...classic.
And yeah, it's pretty startling to think that this is becoming the prevailing mindset.

I feel like slapping anyone I hear complaining about this weather
-
Very impressive!

So I guess your family runs the show on the Larry! Good job man

Welcome to the board. I just watched a good portion of your Onaping video...very cool.
Just a tip though, holding your rod 3/4 up the blank while i a pike is thrashing around on a tight line is a great way to break a rod, and yes, I am speaking from experience
-
Looks like a blast. Are you running your river rod for the rigger?
-
Terry, thats a great setup but I believe the Alaskan's are all tillers

I recently drove a '14 Ram with the 3.6 pentastar, and it's got plenty of jam even in the truck, which is likely much heavier than the GC. Plus it's rated to tow around 6500-7000 in the truck config. So I don't think you're losing out on much for your needs
-
Lol^...I bet you wouldn't
-
Two cameras now!!

Tabernouche!! What an absolute beast of a bucket
-
God i need a smoker

Very cool. I just purchased a late 60's model Viking 6 hp that runs quite well but I wish I had your talents for when things start to go sour. Maybe I'll make the drive south to powassan and pick yer brain

Looks like a great place to spend a week in a great area. And that Chevy is an absolute beauty
