  1. Fishable right now? No, not even close.
  2. How many times do you get checked now? Do you still buy a license? I don't think you can implement an entire species as No kill, but little steps at a time... it does work.
  3. Using Autotrader.ca as some sort of de facto standard on used cars.... Now THAT is funny! LOL!!!!
  4. There have already been no kill sections implemented in certain rivers that have proven to help the fishery.. I'm just failing to see how having more CO's there to enforce those rules will have a direct impact on the fishery. Like you've said yourself, most people obey the law, even with a million CO's patrolling Ontario there will still be those few that don't. Does that mean we shouldn't implement things like no kill because it's doomed to fail?
  5. Reliable at crashing itself into a wall. No thanks.. Toyota isn't what it used to be in the 80's early 90's...
  6. If you want them in the winter, through the ice on Simcoe would be your best bet.
  7. Nah, he lines them up and hopes they move.... They never do, lol!
  8. So you think everyone would just disobey the law and keep fish regardless? Most people out there obey the law without having to have a CO standing behind them.
  9. I'm sure GM is very upset that you won't buy one of their vehicles, lol.
  10. Yup, even in the big lakes lakers close the 31st of Sept. GBay/Huron/Lake O, etc.
  11. Mike's truck has this canny ability to track down and run over grouse, lol.
  12. Slots work great.. A combination of all of these surely would make for a healthier fishery.
  13. I love my crop but for in your face fish pictures even a nifty fifty is too long. So it's good and bad. The one lens I usually keep on my 60D while on the river is a EF-S 10-22mm. On the long end with the crop it's 35mm, which is a great focal length for fish shots/portraits at the same time I can score some killer landscape shots with it.. On the other side of the coin it turns my Canon EF 70-200 f4 L into a 320mm on the long end! Love it! My next lenses are EF 24-70 f2.8 and a EF 100-400. L glass is expensive, but well worth it. Treat it as an investment.. They also retain their value extremely well.
  14. What exactly are you insinuating?
  15. 7D is a nice camera.. My next upgrade will be FF.
  16. I haven't found anything better then http://www.wunderground.com/ App or website, doesn't matter.
  17. T3i would be another good choice.. Had no idea they announced a T4i already.
  18. I've got a Panasonic Lumix TS3 for my rugged/waterproof P&S works great. As far as the T3 is concerned, I'd look at the T2i instead.. Better bang for the buck.
  19. Absolutely man, we can lose a bunch of floats on the Notty trying to one up each other, lol!!! You've got my number, gimme a ring when you and Dan want to get out.
  20. The closet I get the gf to fishing is suntanning in the boat during the summer, lol!
  21. Recoils? That thing must be nice and light!
