Unfortunately I've caught many gators in my life in the 15+ range I say unfortunately as I look at them as a pain when I'm fishin bass/walleye Biggest one I've ever had beside the boat was about 9-10 years ago----absolute monster----fall fishin Eyes---caught on 1/4 oz jig and worm---had to push 30lbs He was in there gobblin up these nuisance rock bass that were set up on a rock ledge---baitfish---key
  2. "Key" spots are only a guideline Use your electronics---locate the food source(concentrations of baitfish)you'll usually find preds nearby spots are where you find this scenario--could be deep/shallow/suspended Your then choice of lure will be what is able to blow by their nose
  3. Watched a pro-sign maker do one years ago on wood with a "sand Blaster" Gives you raised letters and images and looks super cool

Years ago a friend of mine and myself fished a bass tourney on Buckhorn---early 80's Bob Izumi was there and so was Reno and Ang---I remember they were trying to get a bass Canada Tourney trail off the ground I think it went for a short time Anyway it's 2012 and we're still using their name---must of done something right---I like FNC actually Re: that tourney---my then partner (and school friend) went on to be one of Canada's best bass anglers and has been winning consistently for many years (I try not to be a name dropper so I won't tell who) and your anonomously went on to be one of the 6th best near sighted 6 fingered fish painters

  10. O-Fish-All Vernors update I called a local Metro store---thinkin if they carried down south then maybe??? Apparently they tried and are unable in this area---so I'll see if the bros will deliver

I still have a cork handled red coloured glass rod and Johnson Skipper reel (does'nt work so great anymore)---was the 1st outfit my Dad bought me in 67 I'm not a hoarder by any stretch---but ya never get rid of those things And once in a while I make sure I put a Red rod in a paintin "Obsessive Compulsive"

  14. Yeah Vernors had a taste apart from the rest Now it reminds us of simpler times-----bamboo fishin poles---and Saturday night on the steps of the General Store in the summer---listening to the farm stories---and the crickets chirp

Back in the 70's my family used to visit in a little town in Southwestern Ontario called "Arkona" Quaint little place---straight out of a Rockwell painting Anyway----I always enjoyed going to the little gas station store there complete with the wood floors and gettin a (glass bottle) of Vernors Ginger Ale---loved it Anyway years passed and I never found it around much at all-----Until we moved back here to the Ottawa Valley Now when we 1st went to the Renfrew Wal Mart---low and behold---they sold it in cans-----BINGO!!---bought it all the time Till they changed it to a Superstore---no more bingo Anyway my Bros are comin for a visit from The Hammer---anybody ever see this available out there in the Hamilton area?---then they could haul me up some.
