Ice Season almost over on Simcoe
LostAnotherOne replied to icefisherman's topic in General Discussion
Haven't been out there much, but was planning on maybe one more time this year. How many inches left bud? -
Will he commit another murder? I honestly don't think so cause after the ruling last Friday that he was allowed to travel out of the hospital he will be the most monitored person in Canada. I doubt the hospital will say "Ok Vince we will see you tomorrow. Enjoy your trip to Winnipeg". Hopefully they have a system in place where he can be watch by either a nurse or doctor while taking his medication at his specific times. Still don't agree with the whole ruling.

That's what I call a "Close Call" manitoubass

So a few years ago (2008) a young man was riding on a greyhound bus in Manitoba and was stabbed, beheaded, and cannibalized by a guy who was sitting right next to him. The guy who killed the young man went to court and was declared not criminal responsible due to him being a nut case. Now after being institutionalized for 7 years the doctors say he's okay to roam outside of the hospital and to do what he likes. I read he wants to travel to Winnipeg for the day, but the docs said as long as he takes his medication. What's your thoughts on this cause it's been on my mind for a few days now.

Looks like Lupul and Phaneuf have hired a law firm for allowing a tweet to get aired on TSN.

Public service announcement for pizza in Brampton
LostAnotherOne replied to leaf4's topic in General Discussion
I worked in the pizza industry for a little over 5 years in my early twenties. Work for both independent and franchise. One thing I learned is to never buy pizza from a non franchised store. Non franchised stores have no supervisors except the health inspectors that will make an appearance twice a year as opposed to franchised stores where they have company supervisors who are in and out of the stores on a weekly basis. -
Cant believe I forgot about the trade deadline today. Thanks Bill. I know what I'm doing for the next 4 hours.

I love feeding the birds on my front deck and once I saw a blue jay, male cardinal, and a woodpecker all within a area together of less then 2 feet. I got to get a good camera one day and position it in front of my front window.

need a lil help with musky tackle...
LostAnotherOne replied to manitoubass2's topic in General Discussion
When fishing on a lake that could produce a big musky I always say be careful what you wish for cause it could come true. I almost fell out of the boat the first time a big musky followed my lure up to the boat lol. No joking. Knees buckled and almost in I went. You will get a big one on the side of your boat. Good luck. -

That's right Lew. Gotta say nothing beats catching a musky while casting. I say Rick is since you just moved to LOTW and you don't know the water yet you should consider hiring a guide. They are pretty expensive, but can save you a lot of time and money(gas) looking for them. -

That musky that I'm holding Rick was caught using a 6" perch by Live Target. Grab a lure for every depth. One that goes just under the surface. Another 5-10 feet and another that can get down 15 plus feet. Trolling is the key. That's just my two cents, but there's guys on here a lot better then I am at musky fishing. -
Brutal winter-Will it affect the spring bite ?

Now I see why I sucked last year. It was the weather and not me. -
Whats your worst fishing accident
LostAnotherOne replied to LostAnotherOne's topic in General Discussion
A few years back my dad went on a fishing trip with his buddies and one of them drowned. Boat capsized and he wasn't wearing a life jacket. My dad had to identify the body and drive his truck home. -
As a Leaf fan I found the video insulting, repulsive, degrading, and extremely hilarious. I'm still laughing while writing this. lol

Whats your worst fishing accident
LostAnotherOne replied to LostAnotherOne's topic in General Discussion
Glad to hear nobody has lost an eye. That's always my biggest fear. My worst is cutting my finger open by a pikes tooth when I was younger. All I remember is blood all on the inside of my grandfathers boat. The sad thing is that the pike wasn't even bigger then 25". -
I don't care what anyone says, but one thing I have learned about fishing my whole life is that it does have it's risks. You can ask any person who doesn't fish if they think fishing has its dangers and they will probably laugh. Try putting that person in the middle of two fisherman in a boat throwing a double treble hook lure for 8 hours haha. A lot of you dudes have been fishing a lot longer then I have so I got one question for you. What's the worst fishing accident you have had?

I don't see Toronto surpassing either Buffalo or Edmonton which means no McDavid or Eichel. They will end up with either a 3rd,4th, or 5th pick which unfortunately doesn't get me excited. Hopefully the player they pick turns into a unexpected star, but I'm not too sure. Theirs a big defenseman I hoping Leafs get who's name is Noah Hanifin. He could be a good starting point on the rebuild. Plus he's American so he can fit right in lol.

Researched fish in Quebec and couldn't find anything that matches that. I would let the ministry know. If it's a new species I would call it BBBUUUTTTTTTT UUUGGGLLLYYY

Two Lowrance units interfering with each other
LostAnotherOne replied to Basschaser77's topic in General Discussion
It doesn't matter if you change the frequency. Having two in the same area isn't going to work. -
47" manitoubass. I caught probably over 200 pike in my life with my biggest 32". Well done dude.

I wonder if that's the same guy who I almost had a scrap with a Bronte Creek this past fall. I caught a female and this loser was telling me the whole time on how to bring it in properly. Ruined the whole battle. As I lifted it up the eggs starting falling out so I got her back in the water ASAP. He was telling me the whole time the fish was going to die anyways and I should give it to him. I released it and went on my way. He kept pushing that he was right and I came this close on punching him in the jaw. Five minutes later he was putting dead salmon in a big garbage bag.

It could be your dog. It could be a t-shirt or a hat. Maybe your brother or wife. I personally don't have any yet. What superstitions do you guys have when it comes to fishing?

I really hope to see Ovy lift up the cup one day. He's done enough for the sport to deserve that.
