  1. If you are looking at Ranger boats look for 1989 or newer that was the the first year they removed all of the wood in the substructure so you will not need to look for wood rot in the fiberglass portion of the boats. The motor they came with in some cases are the Johnsons and they are still maintained to an extent thru third party and factory parts. I have the 150 gt series and it is still running strong with a few worn parts replaced over the years.

  2. I think it's about time that the US start staying out of our business. It seems I'm saying this more and more these days.

They have totally messed up their country and have all the people in a hypnotic, fear-mongering state down there.

Leave us alone and stay out of our politics. Some VERY disturbing things about their politics(corruption), messed up medical system and REALLY messed up finances there.

We're smart Canucks to have no part in what they say or try to tell us what's good for us.

    That's my two cents.

I just wanted to preserve this comment for the height of stupidity of the poster. I can't believe in this day and age of education that this horrific prejudice view is still present between these two great nations. I live down here and the statements he has made I find are not true and are founded on poor information and are not realistic in a global economy. I am sure the company that won the bid is taking the best care they can of the information and honoring the contract between Canada and the USA.

  3. Brian I just got the go Pro Hero 2 and the features are worth the extra from the original. It comes with a program you can use for free and download from their site. You might want to go to the website and look at the requirements of what your computer requirements are it is a pretty memory and resources hungry program. I am learning now how to do time laps but so far it is beating me.... I also found if you get the motorsports system instead of the outdoors system (both retail at the same price) it is cheaper to then just order the headband then you get 2 kits for less money.

  4. Pull the starter rope slowly to get the flywheel turning then pull a little faster it will light off with little effort. The spinning of the socket will tighten the magneto on to the point of being a real bear to get off and can shift the crankshaft.

  5. We all have judgment points that we feel are critical to finding our social nitch. We do it every day in life conscious and subconsciously. The triggers may be less noticeable like what they do for a living you could be sharing a beer with a lawyer (no offence intended) and until you know he is a lawyer he was a great guy. You could be fishing next to a millionaire and until he pulls out his $300.00 fishing rod and his $40.00 cigar he was an good buddy. He then pulls out a second $40.00 cigar and gives it to you he is now back in your good graces.

Now that we find we judge people with all of our senses the easiest one is sight. We judge everything constantly we hate that car we like that dress we think that person is bad because of his tattoos or least we go there they have a genetic signature that is easy to identify. If you dislike someone because of a cultural belief then take the time to find out if they even follow that belief. I have an Asian friend who loves to talk like a redneck just to mess with people when he gets the stereotype vib.

The main root of prejudging people is to raise the level on which you stand. To support your self's worth in your eyes this is good for your esteem however it is a two edged sword judge to harshly or to often and others will see that you are beneath them for this action. Talk to the person for 5 min. then figure out if he is a positive or a negative in your life. It will keep you from missing out on some great friends and hopefully avoid the ones that truly are beneath you.

  6. We have a Blue catfish we have caught on average once or twice a year for the past 4 years. We named her Fluffy from a scar she has on here back looks like cotton. She averages 2 to 4 lbs per year and it puts her at 48 lbs if she shows up this year. Nice fish but kind of dumb she falls for the big chunks of shad every year.lol

  7. My hunting story was I saw 3 deer come down a brush trail from an awkward direction from where I was sitting on the ground. Any movement would have spooked them for sure. I had my body sitting against a tree turned from 6 o clock to 11 oclock with the scope up to my eye waiting for them to clear the brush for the shot. As they worked there way down the brush keep them hidden till I finally had my shot I opened my other eye to check for a clear field to shoot and the buggers were 20 ft away from me. I was using a 270 so shooting them that close would have messed up a lot of meat so needless to say they walked or actually ran because I cussed at them for getting to close.

  8. I heard that restaurants in some states have mudcats on the menu as "mountain trout"...

I haven't come across that in the areas I have been but you can bet I wouldn't order any food with the word mountain in it since my order of "Mountain Oysters" and found out what they really were. :D
