I own 3 simax rods and like them. Dont know of any stores that carry them at this point though. I loved the quantum smoke i had in my hand today but the micro guides im guessing wont past through the braid to fluorocarbon knots

I heard boyond that there wont be permits for water or septic. It was my first year on the lake so dont take this as fact just what my neighbor told me. He is the head of our association so i would assume he;s in the know

I think the issue here was when the business changed ownership the same had to be done with the goverment paperwork to sell licenses. I think allot of places lost there rights aswell do to setting up new digital format and equipment involved in doing that -

hey everyone just an update. I found a 25hp merc 2stroke. do you think it will be too much when i try to troll with it
-
if you mean gannon narrows i have a cottage just up the road and it was open tuesday. first year at the cottage and am a little worried with the lake levels so low
-
I have a 9.9 4stroke merc as a kicker motor on my big boat. I find once warm it is hard to start. friend has same motor and same problem. I am thinking 4 stroke 20 as im asuming it will troll better than a two stroke.
-
thanks for the imput. I will not be trailering it. It will be staying at a cottage on pigeon lake. I was looking at for strokes, Yamaha or merc 15 or 20s.. I was leaning towards the 20 as the merc has electric start yamaha does not. worried the four strokes might be hard to start. I will be fishing more alone than not. thanks for the imput everyone.

im planning on buying this boat. http://www.polarkraftboats.com/boats/Dakota-V-1470-L wondering whether i should get a 15 or 20hp motor for it

Need imput here on new fishfinder purchase. I have two boat one a tinner at cottage and one for lake erie and ontario. I want a fishfinder with sideimaging that i can buy an extra transducer and swap between boats. The new lowrance looks great but not sure about the ability to swap it with the down imaging box. Humminbird is built in but not sure of the speed quality compared to lowrance. any imput would be greatly appreciated. Oh and will the structure scan allow me to follow weedlined.
-
so what basicly do these do over the old units. Is it mainly an upgrade if you use structure scan or want to save data
-
does anyone know what the fishing is like here. And what do you catch

Rumour I heard is they allready bought land in burlington. -
i posted on the basspro sale price thread the same thing. Their prices are crazy high on electronics and pricey on reels.
-
Yeah i heard grimsby tackle and fishing world are not going this year. Myself i prefer the spring sales at the local shops anyways
-
yeah and compare radio world prices on electronics. most fishfinder are 150 or more cheaper than basspro sale prices.

Im sure there are a couple good deals. To be fair please list the items you feel are a great deal
