And make sure you have a lug wrench that fits the trailer wheels because the one for your truck may not.

Day one the plan would be to get as far as Young's Point.
Give Burleigh Island Lodge a call, they're just a few miles north of Youngs Point and last time I was there they had cabins for rent plus docking. No idea what it's like right now but it's a nice place is they can accommodate you.

Awesome story Brian and good to hear you got to spend some well deserved time together.

I'm just curious here, but are you somehow affiliated with Fish'n Canada as I don't recall you ever posting about anything else other than that show ?

A neighbor down the road told me they caught a goby off their dock on Clear Lake last week, but who knows ?

There was another Outdoor Store on the Danforth and although it was small they carried alot of stuff and I bought a set of golf clubs there many years ago.
There was also a Collegiate Sports not too far away at Warden & St.Clair and I used to like wandering around there but I think the only thing I ever bought was a pair of Kodiak boots. Nice store but they didn't last too long at that location.

Just another thought for you but windows in the garage doors is a really nice option and you can get thermal windows if you want.
I had my windows put at eye level and am very happy with the set-up.

Hey Lew, time to come out of retirement and start your own show! I bet Lew's would sponsor you!
But then I'd have to flog Lew''s Reels and that would make me one of the guys I'm complaining about LOL

Good to hear you enjoy them Bill, the never ending advertisements just aren't my thing.

I stopped watching TV fishing shows years ago mainly because most of them are nothing more than Infomercials and IMO the worst was always Fishful Thinking.
I came in the den at 9:00 this morning and turned on the TV and sure enough it was Fishful Thinking. I wondered if anything had changed and sat down to watch it.
Only took a couple minutes and he hooked into a Lake O salmon and by the time he had the fish in the boat he'd advertised ... I think ...7 different products.
I turned it off and I spose it'll be another 5 years before I watch another fishing show.

Congratulations on your retirement Brian, it's a milestone we all look forward to.
I've been retired 20 years now and have never regretted taking early retirement once, you just have to keep busy and don't ever let yourself get bored. I start every day with a 4 mile walk at sunrise, 365 days a year and after breakfast I get busy and if I don't have a job to do I invent one LOL
Enjoy the time you've earned bud, you've got a whole new life ahead of you.
For years on this board my signature said "when your retired, every day is Saturday morning".
