  1. Wayne, who cares about the truck, it can be replaced. Jen can't buddy. My thoughts and prayers are with you guys. I was told cancer is a journey in life for both the person going through it and the family from the get go. Your family's journey continues with a bunch of twists and turns. Stay strong and Jen will get through it. Let me know if you guys need a lift or anything. I'm off till August so a drive up to Penetang will be kinda nice to beat the boredom.

  2. Go to Canadian Tire and pick up some hull cleaner. It is a weak acid solution that breaks down quickly. Get a spray bottle, mix. 1/3 cleaner with 2/3 tap water and spray all over under the water line. Let it sit for 5 minutes then give a it a light scrubbing with a car wash brush and spray off. I bought a one gallon jug 4 years ago and still have enough for 2 more seasons.

  3. Cliff, a new car will cost you 3-4 thousand a year in depreciation plus whatever goes wrong along the way. If you spend 2 k a year on hour subaru, you are making money. The drivetrain has at least another hundred k in it. Drive it right down into the ground then replace it. I have spent enough money on cars in the past 25 years that I could have bought another small house. I plan on driving old cars in decent shape for the next 10-15 years. A car is a car is a car is a car.......... Ultimately though, whatever floats your boat. Btw, find out what the prob is with the blower and then hit the wreckers, you will find it.

  4. Rich, also check out iboats.com. The forums there are really helpful. Whether its questions about fiberglass or motor work and everything in between, you can find it there. Good luck. As long as there is no rot, all your work is the relatively easy stuff. Painstaking with wiring but definitely workable with a tester and voltmeter. Good luck. The motor is great. Just make sure you run good quality oil and dont thrash it.

  5. Ankles. Nasty spots to get bit. During black fly season, I spray my whole body down with Muskol before I get dressed. Other than the lil buggers flying around my face, I find I dont get bit by them thankfully. For bad skeeters, I still have some paint thinner Muskol thats 95% deet from the 80's that I break out.

  6. Mitch, nice to meet you this morning. Thank you very much for the cannoes, they will definitely be used quite a bit this summer. Nice little place you have there. Anybody looking for a cottage resort this summer on a nice lake, this is it.

  7. I've seen them and have spoken with their owners, they loved them. That said, I absolutely love Roxanna, my 14 month old dutch/german shepherd. She is very smart and is a beautiful dog. Have you looked at Belgian Malinois?? Another great dog. So many great breeds out there, you need to find one that fits your wants and needs and also your personality.
