Would have LOVED to get out but I'm running a fever. The last round of chemo kicked my butt. Here's to next time. Cheers folks!!

He has done well for a guy that started with a hot dog stand. He came from nothing and has lived the American dream. I've met him and talked with him a couple of times years ago at the restaurant. Good guy.

The marina I used to deal with would charge them up, disconnect them and shrink wrap the boat. In spring, it would be ready to go. Rarely would they have to recharge a battery in the spring. Those were usually batteries that were pretty much done.

A Winnipeg dealer should be able to hook you up. They do a lot of biz w people from northwest ont.

Drop the correct amount or a bit more for a full load in the tank and then top it off to mix it or take the boat/trailer for a 5 minute drive so the fuel sloshes around a bit to mix. Hook up the muffs and fire it up for 10-15 minutes to get the stabilizer throughout the fuel system. WARNING, if using Marine Stabil, double the dose if you use it to stabilize, it has more cleaners in it but less stabilizers so a double dose will work fine. That comes from their website. That's the stuff I use in my I/O starting Labour Day weekend I drop it in every time I put fuel in. CT always puts it on special in the spring and in the fall. Buy a big bottle and it will last a good couple of years.

So far so good. My white blood cell count is down in a big way so I'm heading in the right direction. One of the drugs that is on my chemo regimen causes an adverse reaction (I basically go into convulsions that takes a healthy shot of demerol to stop). My haematologist saw the reaction this time and took the drug off the regimen. Nobody ever said that this journey is in a straight line so we deal with things that come along.
Hopefully for Jen, this infection clears up quickly. Good luck.

Well that sucks! Keep rinsing with baking soda/water or just plain salt/water to keep it clean. Keep your hopes up, with antibiotics it may clear up. Have her see a dentist, maybe the tooth needs to be pulled, better that than recurring infections which are no good at this point as we know. You just do your damndest to keep her spirits up. She is one heck of a fighter.

Look into the regulations before going off the deep end. Could be that everything looked clean when they cleaned it and it did not need a thorough cleaning job. I'd call them up and threaten to report them to their respective trade organization for failing to do a proper cleaning and inspection if it is a mess.

Roger, I'm sorry to hear about the loss of your partner in life. I too am battling the Devil's Disease and it breaks my heart to hear of the passing of another great person. Take care of yourself and your family and know you have an angel watching over you.
-
Great Great news! Good to hear Jen is heading in the right direction.

Its a utility rifle and started off in rough shape. Tung oil or the linseed oil will do fine. You don't need to go and spend a lot on this old gun. Spend your dough on ammo to learn how it shoots.

There's plenty of videos on you tube on re bluing a firearm. You may as well take the barrel and action off of the stock to get the whole thing done. It will definitely look better once you refinish it. As long as the bore and rifling is intact, she will shoot real fine. The old Remington 700 series rifles were tack drivers out of the box. Try 2 or 3 different rounds but don't go with a real heavy bullet, you don't need it. Bore sight it once its back together and then dial her in nice at 200 yards and you will have a great shooter.

Sorry for your loss. Take care bud!

I wonder if Mickey will be making a Cameo appearance and whether the plotline involves the kidnapping of Cinderella by an evil Sith Lord????
-
Paul, my belated condolences to you and your family.

Nice ride Lew! Use it in good health. It sure is a nice truck. If you stick to the speed limit on the highway, it will be decent on fuel.
-
Lew, if you were handy with a 410, you'd never have to buy another turkey from the grocery store....
Jeez, in south Oakville to boot. I'm up by Dundas and Neyagawa and there used to be a bunch of deer up on the north side of Dundas once in a while but it's been a while since I've seen any. Haven't seen any wild turkeys up this way.

Good luck fellas!! This was the year I was planning on getting back into hunting but I kinda got sidelined by my health. So fill your freezers and be safe whether you ae in a stand or you are bushwhacking.
-
Its in my neck of the woods. Depending on how I feel, I will try to stop in for a wing or two.
-
Good news Wayne!!! She's going to lick this.

Bearskin rug in front of the woodstove and bear stew for dinner. This one is getting bold and needs to be dealt with. OPP and MNR kinda washed their hands of problem bears so it is up to you. You can try a 12 guage loaded with beans or rock salt OR a 3inch slug. I'd try the first option. Don't mess with it Lew, they are sure cute and cuddly looking but they are a wild and ornery animal.

He also played a character on an episode of MASH which was on yesterday. RIP Alex.

She's a trooper Wayne. I was supposed to start my chemo today but due to the backlog at the hospital today I got bumped to tomorrow morning. I'm still planning on making my way downtown to see you one day. Keep an eye on your pm inbox. Take care of your little girl and keep your head up.

What about air getting into the fuel line?? Does the ball stay hard after you've run for a bit? What condition is the fuel pickup like in the fuel tank?? Work back from the tank to the motor ruling out potential suspects.

Stowmaster. I had no problem using it while fishing solo. The bag is nice to have if you move around or stow the net often in the garage/man cave.
