I fueled mine up and gave it 3-4 slow pulls to move the oil around, turned the ignition on, primed and choke on and she started on the first pull. So, according to my snowblower, it wont be a bad winter. When it gives me issues, its a bad winter. Shes 23 years old and hasnt been wrong.

SUPERTANKER!!

The complications are just speed bumps on the road to recovery. I went through hell and back to get my body to tolerate the silver bullet for lymphoma, rituximab. It almost killed me but with perserverance, we got it into me. Grind it out and keep smiling for your mrs.

Take the bad along with the good. Good to hear that she gets to dodge the radiation. Hopefully one more round of chemo and you guys get to go on with the rest of your lives. Good luck!!

Thats good news!! I hope and pray that it continues for Jen. She is truly and incredible young woman.

Great pic of the family!!!

TJ, I feel your pain. We are heading up to close the cottage this weekend. I serviced and put the boat away 2 weeks ago and now it is the cottage's turn. Now to look forward to March break for re opening and May for splashing the boat again. Absence makes the heart grow fonder.........

Yes you do. It can be mounted but only permanently. The quick release bracket will make your life much easier. Make sure when you mount it that the trolling motor can deploy fully. It will probably stick out a bit.

Thats some good news for once!! Hopefully there will be more to follow Wayne.

Thats devastating news!!! My heartfelt condolences go out to your brother and the whole family.

It definitely has issues. Contact Shimano to find out where you can drop it off to get repaired. If you are in the West end, Aikmans can fix it for you. He is on Novar drive @ Hurontario and Dundas in Mississauga.

I gotta get me one of those!! Only in America.

Depends on what you are going to use it for. Double 10s/Cowgirls are damned big and need a low gear ratio. Big jerkbaits/glidebaits not so much. Smaller spinnerbaits such as slopmasters, you can get away with a flippin stick with a good low profile reel. I really like my record 65 from abu, the winch is a great feel in your price range. Save up another week or two. Buy a good reel, you will have it for years and years.

Lew, unfortunately I had to head back yesterday afternoon. I was hoping to spend one more night and fish the Green Acres tourney today. I was going to try to pop in and see you last night. Anyways, all I got for my efforts was a 27incher and a busted skeg out by Hurricane pt. ALL the rocks are not marked on the charts. Its not too bad just chewed up a bit. The Fenwick trolling rod works great. I tried several different lures with it and it pulls them no problem and feels nice. I just need to try it out on a 50+incher to really see what it can handle.

Dex is not fun stuff. I get 80mg of it in the 24hrs leading up to treatment. It keeps the possibility of reacting to the Rituximab to a minimum.

Wayne, I've got my fingers, toes, eyes, ears and everything else crossed. I was in for maintenance this week and am still recovering from the massive doses of dexamethasone (steroids). It ain't fun but we gotta do what we gotta do. They'll get Jen fixed up. Take care.

Rizzo, where abouts? I can try dragging a big treble with a big weight out front. Lew, love to see you @ some point. I'll give you a buzz on your your cell if I can kick loose.

I have a 6'6 Fenwick Elite Tech jigging rod. Ml action with a fast tip. Love it. I would not go longer than that for an in boat rod. Anything from 6 to 6 1/2 ft in an ml action. Med is a bit too heavy for jigging.

Swung by Fishing World this morning to pick up a couple of musky leaders this morning. Saw the new Fenwick Elite Tech Musky Glass Trolling rod. 8ft6in, heavy with a mod fast action. Nice looking rod and it felt better in my hand than the St Croix Premier which was more than twice as expensive. For 90 bucks I figured what the heck, I have a spare trolling reel so I bought it. I will be trying it out this weekend on Pigeon for the annual Musky tourney with the boyz. I will be in my beige Larson fish in ski bowrider if there are any OFNrs around the north end of the lake (Lew). Say hi. I will report on the new rod and the fishing. I'm kinda forced to do more trolling now since I don't have the same oompf I did pre chemo.

Beauty ski!!!!! Nice colours on her!

Very nice pics Joey!! Been a while since I went to the air show.

Happy bday Paul. I hope you get out fishing to celebrate.

Just use a syringe. Ask your dr for one and let him know why you need it.

You can park at whichever marina you launch from. I will PM you with a suggestion. At Beausoleil, you can beach your boat or anchor it just off the shore. Depends on what you have boat wise. Fibreglass, no, aluminum, yes. As for fishing, the little harbours have some smallies and hammer handle pike. Venturing out a bit................. I would suggest buying the chart for the waters. 30 odd bucks is much cheaper than 100+ for a prop and 300 for a skeg. Besides, then you will be armed with a powerful weapon in your search for fish. Theres plenty of smallies and dare I say some BIG musky not far from the north end of the island.
