I've only seen the online version which is excellent! I have the Southern section ordered which should be in the mail this week! Definatly an excellent resource!

Don't be afraid to check out County Forest Tracts, I started hunting 7 years ago and Have had more success on public land then anywhere! They are my go to spots for me to take my daughter for an outing because there is usually a descent consentration of animals(during bow season that is), unfortunatly when the pushers come for gun week...This usually all comes to an end! Good luck!

I agree, seeing a bald eagle(especially for your first time) is a surreal sight! I worked at bruce nuclear and would see 6 to 12 a day, sometimes in full on wars over the outflow feeding on shad, so the excitement isn't there as much. But still seeing a bald eagle is something you'll always remember and a pretty special moment in my opinion!

Has anyone ever done the Smoke L,Norman L,Bena L, Mikado L, Bluebill L,Small L, Hilly L Loop/Portage? Theres a campsite on Hilly Lake, Is a good spot? Hows the Portaging in between the lakes? Hows the fishing?
