Yah I guess I just haven't worked for a company that I really liked. Part of being in and running an IT department is that most companies want us to be kept at arms length. Actually the last place I worked at I really enjoyed the staff, too bad the man there decided they wanted to outsource the dept..

Does anyone else hate going to company Christmas parties or is it just me? I just hate doing to fake smile appreciative thing. I mean yah hang out with some of the guys from work and go to the bar an grab a pint and hockey game, no problem. but the whole contrived situations make me cringe.

Not a big fan of wilson, but the leafs are now sitting in 2nd place in the division, behind a clearly more talented squad, and ahead of several teams with clearly more talented teams. I say he has earned a job til the end of his contract...

If it looks like a gimmick, or they are selling it making it look like a gimmick I don't go near it. I learned my lesson a long time ago. If its good for fishing or hunting. you will see it on the water or in the woods before you see it on a commercial.

There are alot of ifs that go into wining a cup, or any pro championship, As well making the play off's is a dog fight every year. To be the top team is not guarantee your going deep in the playoffs or will win. Look at Van, last year, or chicago the year they won chicago was not a favorite for sure. Boston was not the favorite either. The Leafs are not good enough to be a dominant team and a lock to get in, but they are good enough to fight for a play off spot. 7 players injured including the number 1 goalie and for a good portion a player that will be there top center and they are still in a good spot. My eyes are wide open, and I do see some shining lights. Kessle, Scrivens, Kadri(Even though he hasn't played, when he did I felt he played good), Steckle has been a big boost as has Lupul.

I dunno, I think the bruins have a pretty strong team lead by chara. He is such a dominant player, he doesn't get nearly enough kudo's as he should. As for wilson, I have never been a fan of wilson, but he seems to have figured out kessle, if he can get the PP and PK working, get reimer back, healthy and productive(lets not forget how much exp this kid actually has). I think we will make the playoff's and be a tough team to play against.

What could possibly feel good about losing to Carolina???? :rofl2:

Typically after 20 games they have already had a big skid, like the one in alfredson's pants, But with reimer skating, here is hoping when and if he gets back on the ice the team gets a boost. The pures fact they are winning any games with scrivens and gustoff in net gives me hope.

I dunno, something feels different... Kessle Number 1 in goals and points, Number 1 goalie, who is obviously far better than the two backups, out for a couple weeks and they are still on pace for 93 points after 21 games. Something just feels good about the leafs. Even in tonight's loss. They battled back and had a chance if it wasn't for the double pinch mind fart, on a back to back road game.

Well, I normally am not a fan of Sony car audio stuff. I have had some pretty big setups, and prefer alpine and Infinity almost bey default. However, I wanted to specifically meet a few needs. 1) Bluetooth, 2)front audio jack 3)Clock....

SO in my 2000 corolla that doesnt come with a clock, and has a stock cd player with no clock. Its been a constant annoyance.

Anyway I looked around, and wanted to limit this purchase. I ended up buy a Sony BT2900 from future Shop for 129 bucks on sale. Installed it and wow. I am very impressed by sony on this one. It even streams MP3's direct from by blackberry torch to the deck. No wires. It lets you scroll through the phone book to make calls, or use any of the voice commands all with a single press of the big easy to see hands free button. Also when listening to music and you get a call, it automatically mutes the audio and displays the call display on the deck. Also came with a full function remote control that I will never use(tossed it in the glove box).

The sound is also noticiably louder and crisper(I had replaced the factory speakers with alpines front and back a while ago)

Considering I was going to buy a clock for 30 bucks, and a blue tooth hands free device for 80 bucks, and an FM Transmitter for 70 bucks. I am super happy with this radio so far.

So if your in the market give it a try... and no I don't work for future shop, or sony.

Its pretty obvious to me the ovechkin is not playing with that wreckless abandon, that everyone hated from him when he was producing. Some players you can reel in and get results like federov, bure, etc... But other just need to be let loose.

Keep him on the ice and leave him alone. He would look good in blue and white.

So the leafs if they win today against a struggling team, they will be alone in first in the east, yet they will be the only team currently in a play off spot with more goals against than goals for... I know its an easy answer, win the close games and get destroyed on your losses.

Who would have thought a year or two years ago kessle would be a constant top points and goals guy. Anyone know what's going on with the leafs goalie quest? The longer this reimer situation stays like this the more it feels like the leafs are an injury or slump from kessle away from having a 10 game losing skid. Leafs need to pick up a goalie before the goa scoring wheels fall off. For now though its all blue in the big smoke.

had a good amount of snow covering the ground in Keswick this morning when I woke up.

I have compared some musky pics and have acaught a few good sized musky, I would say its in the 54-58inch range... Looks bigger than this one and its a 54 similar hold and angles...

70 pounds? I don't think so, but if its over 54" it could very well be over 50 pounds. Stuff like this does happen, my cousin caught a big ling on nippising and they took a picture and tossed it down the hole. They weighed it and it turned out it was a half pound under the ontario record ling according to his spring scale. They had no idea at the time.

They look like they are in the 50-60 dollar range and look like they are a newer version of the voltare or whatever the one dave used to chatch a shark with. The guides look better though.

We do, it's called the OFAH, but lots of people don't like to join because they don't agree with all of there initiatives. Although the OFAH has its downsides, it's really the only big group we can support that will fight for our rights.

Its amazing who is creeping out of the woodwork now. I have never known any police officer to be told to be more or less cautious based on a search of the registry. Also I though all related search information was to be destroyed? Seems like the windsor police will be saving it.

Windsor Police Services Chief Gary Smith said the registry assisted police officers, particularly when responding to domestic calls.

“I don’t want to overdramatize it, but it can save lives,” said Smith. ”Often we would search a registry before we dispatched an officer on a call and if you tell them there’s a firearm registered, they’re a little cautious, depending on the type of call. My detectives would use it quite often, anytime they applied for a search warrant or an arrest warrant.”

He laid the blame for the demise of the registry in part on law-enforcement officials. “There was a lot of misinformation out there,” said Smith. “We, as a police community, didn’t explain it to the public properly.”

Police forces will have to adapt to working without the registry, although they still have access to past records, said Smith.

“It’s one of those things,” he said. “We’re going to have to learn to adapt and live with the consequences of that.”

I have had frog legs, its not too bad, like most people will say tastes like chicken.

Also leave the drain plugout of the back and throw some moth balls in the back. This will helkp prevent mice from coming in but let any water or snow drain out that slips past your cover. I leave min tipped back on an angle as well to make sure anything that gets in can drain out.

If your motor uses pre mix oil. don't leave any fuel in the carb's. Run it empty by running the engine, then pulling the fuel supply line, and choke it when it starts to die so it burns off all the fuel. The fog it manually.

If your using an oil injection setup, you can safely use stabil or seafoam to stabilize the fuel and then just fog it.

If you have fuel injection, your not supposed to fog them as it wrecks the efi system. Your supposed to pull the plugs spray the fogging oil directly into the cylinders and crankit over a few cranks without starting it.

Ummm, I dunno. Think about who is gonna get that grant money? Likely some artsy guy making a play about how he wishes his genitals looked like a flower.
