Yes you should care. You shouldn't use unencrypted. If someone wants to they can get everything you have on your computer... You don't care? Do you file your taxes online, online banking, Purchase with a credit card etc...

There is a history of all transaction you do on a website, in your cookies, temp files typed url's etc...your password that you have autmatically saved are not deeply encrypted and are easily recoverable... eg if I have remote access to your machine I can pullevery password Internet explorer or firefox has cached(saved)... do you use a different password for everything you use, banking websites, email etc....

using an unencrypted or WEP encrypted wifi is really bad news.

Most companies I work for ban people from using anything other than a wpa2 encrypted wifi. and some have even banned all wifi. Even wpa2 has been broken but only when using preshared keys.

I have one when I got my last ofah renewal. It does work for both I can tell you that, but dito on the wind. Works best with no wind. Keep in mind the pads once used once are garbage. once you open the pack and light it up your tossing it out, so bring enough with you.

Yah, I am surprised about the amount of attention this got here and thanks to all the supporters. I am happy for the suppot but I think my options are and were limited to the three little check boxes the second she wrote the ticket. Anyway, I am hoping I get a reasonable justice of the peace or whoever it is that I see whenever I see them.

I dunno, maybe she really thought I was really doing public danger driving in the city with one headlight. Maybe she just got reamed out by her boss to give more tickets, Maybe someone in a grey corolla ran over her cat when she was a child, maybe she thought I looked at her funny, maybe it was that time of the month. I really don't know. She was determined to give me that ticket though I can tell you that much. She didn't give me any chance or anything. Before I knew what was going on she had it written up and it was in my hand, and I was trying to plead my case for all of 5 seconds before she was off.

I am angry about it, yes. It does serve to taint my already not so high opinion of certain various police departments and there procedures. I don't think it was right. I really think she could have given me a warning, or followed me home, or told me to change it and come in to the department or something. I really don't even see what the big deal is to be honest with you. Its not like my car is invisible in the city with one headlight. Its not like I can't see where I am going or like I can't see pedestrians. I mean the whole point of mandating cars to have 2 headlights on a car is so that if one goes out you can see with the other.

I think we should just put this one to rest until I go to court and deal with it. I'll be certain to update everyone on the proceedings for sure, and thanks again for everyone support, especially the PM's.

I think some people of a certain skin color would be surprised to see what nation's support this practice financially, pollitically and by importing these animals and by products... I would suggest watching the video. It goes far beyond what some would think on the surface may seem restricted to people that look a certain way.

Tried use window de-froster element and a piece of mechanics wire.In the dry shop it drew 3 amps and burnt to the touch.

Out in the rain it went up to 5 amps and started glowing.

If I have time tonight I'll try add a 1 amp resistor.

to be honest you know what has worked for me when ice fishing, dipping the rod guide in gulp every time I switch up baits.

Oh man, I just figured it out for the ice fishing rod...think it would be worth a patent? Of course now I can't say what the idea is.

A light to cast heat it would have to be incadencent and they take up some serious bettery life. how long would a flash light last with a single battery in -20... even if it worked the batterry wouldn't last long enough to be very useful.

I am sure I'll lose this one, maybe get off with half a fine I guess. It wasn't during daylight hours as I was on my way home from work and it was just after sunset. Anyway, like I said peaved, but what can I do. Just wanted to give people a heads up that may be in the area to check your lights.

OK fine I'll make one tonight with heated rod guides.Run a thin insulated wire up the back of the rod and use some of the defroster paint around the rod guides, hooke up to a little battery with a momentary switch.

window defroster's work in all ellements to melt the ice on the other side of the glass.

I would say just use some of the paint used to fix the rear window defroster in a car. The just hook some leads to it down in the butt with a 9 volt and your off to the races for an ice rod. but it might melt your non bradied lines

We will see what happens I guess. I am gonna go in tomorrow morning before work to the arrange a court date thingy. It opens at 8:30 so if I go in early enough I might be able to sneak into work without anyone noticing, and only lose a single days pay when I go to the actual trial.

Its hard to find headlights all the same color. I had bought a pair of the only ones in the right size they had for my car at ctc. they are slightly whiter/bluer than the originals. I guess I better not drive with one slightly yellowy standard one and one slightly brighter/blueier one. I am bound to get nabbed for that on my way home tonight. hehe

My best guess is I'll go to court and pay half the fine or something like that. Thats what happened to me the last time I was told to take a ticket to court. That one was for having the wrong color boat number stickers on my boat.

However it says the head lights must be able to operate at high and low beam. My low beam that was burnt out still worked as high beam. so I guess the amber light canbe low beam and the high beam can be high beam?
