Yah, I was a big gustoff fan when he came here, but I don't think he got a fair shake. He came in with allot of weight on him and the team in front sucked pretty hard. Now that he does seem to be playing well enough to win, Reimer is back in the net. Lets see how long this goes for Reimer. He has to win soon or he will be watching from the bench. I think Wilson is well aware he is on the ropes. What a long weekend with no hockey. Thank god I was out at the hunt camp shooting deer with the front stuffer.
-
So what happens if the leafs bomb this one and reimer gets shelled? Is it panic time? I am really hoping the leafs win convincingly.

I have the 5 inch for $6.99 and can accommodate large special orders.
Some other senko styles baits to have a looksee at are the Yum Dingers and Ouzo Ouzees.
Can you get different colors on the 5" ones other than whats listed at the same price?

Well, still out now it sounds worse. on the press conference today they said he will be out indefinately. Apparently he took practise and had concusion symptoms after practise. Headaches or something like that. I didn't hear the press conference just the guys on the radio commenting after.
-
Sail has them for 7.99 and no tax
-
BTW are they any good to eat....that's the bottom line with us Redneck's...
He 'cmonn now be honest who hasn't indulged...
err nevermind...

SO many great players out its such a shame for the sport, Kariya, Lindros, Lafontaine, Primeux, Geoff Courtnall, even the head hunter himself Stevens retired due to a concusion from that kubina slapshot when it hit him in the head... many more to come before anything gets done. Not that anything will get done. Crosby, unfortunatly will just be another 50-60 game a season guy til he eventually retires way beyond his years.
-
...we will have to change the meaning of the term "cougar hunting"
I dunno, whats wrong with the current definition of cougar hunting? But cool picture none the less.

Did anyone NOT see this coming at some point?
From TSN...
Following Wednesday's practice, Crosby said he had a slight headache so the team decided to sit him for two games. -
If it's bad to the point where its binding up or loose it could throw things off kilter during cornering or make things bounce and cause extra wear. However it's possible tire wear and the clunking are two independant issues though. Unless maybe its a strut tower bushing or strut or something like that. YOu shoudl be able to recognize that though by vibrations while driving. a sway bar link won't necessarily cause anything other than a clunking. Either way, if the sway bar link is loose and wiggles around, its toast, replace it, its cheap and easy to do yourself. Then go from there.
-
Nice driving a cayene with a missing tire? I didn't like him when he played hockey, I didn't like him when he was on TV, and I don't like him now. Send him to Ottawa if you have to. Thats where us real canadian hockey fans send our useless washed up hasbeen's.

My apologies if this is a stupid question. I haven't had alot of time to read or digest what's out there on this new realignment proposal, but why would the Leafs be ranked lower than Florida and Ottawa within the same conference? I thought part of the objectives of the new alignment was to eliminate the possibility of teams with less points getting a playoff spot over teams with higher points?
I just didn't really order them properly as I was only really conerned with the ones that made the playoffs. I'll fix it though for yah.
Another interesting thing in the current system last year the leafs missed the playoffs by 8 points. With the new system they would have missed by 11 points.

I would say you are into the swaybar links for sure. A mechanic should pick this up. You don't really want your sway bar links letting go. Exact same symptoms as mine had. Do the swaybar links first and maybe you can just return the bushings, if that fixes it. When you swerve one way it twists the sway bar exerting pressure on the sway bar link. if its loose all with any playit will take up the slack, then when you swerve back the other way it will release that slack and you get the clunk. Make sure you put those swaybar links on good and tight. Mine came loose after a day of driving and started to clunk again. You have to hold the bolt with the allen key and use an open ended wrench to tighten or loosen them, you can't use a ratchet. I used a ratcheting box end wrench. 15mm, I can't recall the size of the allen key. soak them good with WD40 or whatever penetrating oil you like for an hour or two to make the remove easier. You don't want to have to get into cutting them off like I did.

Yah well that is Gary's baby, he loves the greater new york area. I am sure Tampa and florida would have loved to be in the that conference versus having to fly over them to get to their's
-
I would bet that florida and tampe move to markham and hamilton. Seems funny to have those two teams in a division with the rest being the furthest north east.
-
Sounds like the PA is not to pleased about this. They haven't signed off on it.

Gee man... no love at all...

I also have a 2000 corolla that had a clunk. Check your sway bar links. If you can move them at all with your hand change them. All you need is an allen key(to hold the bolt) and a 15mm wrench to take off the nut. Shouldn't take more than 15 or 20 minutes per side. I didn't even raise my car off the ground. one side I had to grind off one of the nuts. That took a bit longer.
The sway bar links are short rods with a bolt on the eac end, one goes to a flange on the lower control arm the other onto the sway bar. Accessed from behind the rear of the front tires. crank your wheel all the way to one side and check and replace.
EDIT
Also check the sway bar bushings, they are also notorious for going on corollas. Mine were still good. there are two near the middle of the car under the tranny/engine/Steering mount. if they look damaged or you can grab the sway bar and shake it they are gone.
I wish I saw this earlier I litterally just did this this past weekend.

BTW... the ministries records don't get updated as quickly as CarFax does. It has happened where a person has bought a car and sold it before the liene gets registered with the ministry. Buyer beware. I know this because my dad works at Toyota and this has burned them in the past.

Well I ended up going after all. Was ok, not great, awkward. I pretended to be the drunk guy.

I have a space on my wall, for a record walleye, Bass and musky. Everything short of that goes back. Accept for the odd walleye for dinner.
-
this is exactly the reason you DO want to go....weird + trying to dress up + bringing even weirder spouse + alcohol = recipe for disaster (aka great people watching)
I see this on the 404 every day for an hour and a half each way. the last thing I want to do is be stuck in a room with all of them.

Maybe its the demographic and circumstances that don't sit well with me this year. Smallest company I have worked for(in terms of people), laid off the only people I talked to on a regular basis within the last 3 weeks, all bonus's cancelled without telling anyone, bonus time just came and went. Now I am one of the only male left here outside of the management that are quickly starting to outnumber the staff. Management has made a gigantic leap this year to run the place like a large corporation with only a hand full of staff, so its been a pretty awkward year for everyone still standing.
Just one of those things I guess.
I think I'll have to be a game time decision this year, certainly don't want to be the sour grape in the bowl of egg nog.

I think he would need to pass waivers to get sent down wouldn't he?
