  1. Normally we just try and figure out where they walk and sit quiet. This year. I cleared out some bush and put up a trail cam, put down some mineral stuff, and a few bags of corn. I am gonna go back up, maybe this weekend and drop more corn or msomething down and see how it goes. Hopefully I can get my hands on some cheap apples to take up as well.

  2. Ok, so I got lambasted at work for not liking the the movie drive. I was too critical apparently that while he was driving in rverse he shifted up like 5 times. Other things I had issue with as well. I guess I am going against the grain here. But I felt like if you don't have a crush or man crush on Ryan Gossling or whatever his name is and you have any sense of what a car can and can't do you won't like the movie. Yes I agree it had 3 cool scenes, the head bashing in scene, the final car chase and the motel shootup scene. However they base the entire plot development on my believing that he is the ultimate wheelman. An awesome driver. However in the first scene he doesn't get away from the helicopter. The helicopter has him pinned under a bridge and they leave because there is a murder reported. Anyway.... Give it an up or down. :) Personally, if he had of talked a bit, or they built him up a bit with some history, or something, I may have felt something for him. I felt nothing, and as such I give this movie a 2 out of 5 stars. A resounding thumbs down, or a

  3. Update #11

    Fri, 23 Sep 2011 07:30:46 PM EDT

As of 7 p.m. EDT on Sept. 23, 2011, the orbit of UARS was 90 miles by 95 miles (145 km by 150 km). Re-entry is expected between 11 p.m. Friday, Sept. 23, and 3 a.m., Sept. 24, Eastern Daylight Time (3 a.m. to 7 a.m. GMT). During that time period, the satellite will be passing over Canada, Africa and Australia, as well as vast areas of the Pacific, Atlantic and Indian oceans. The risk to public safety is very remote.

  4. Update #10

    Fri, 23 Sep 2011 10:45:08 AM EDT

As of 10:30 a.m. EDT on Sept. 23, 2011, the orbit of UARS was 100 miles by 105 miles (160 km by 170 km). Re-entry is expected late Friday, Sept. 23, or early Saturday, Sept. 24, Eastern Daylight Time. Solar activity is no longer the major factor in the satellite’s rate of descent. The satellite’s orientation or configuration apparently has changed, and that is now slowing its descent. There is a low probability any debris that survives re-entry will land in the United States, but the possibility cannot be discounted because of this changing rate of descent. It is still too early to predict the time and location of re-entry with any certainty, but predictions will become more refined in the next 12 to 18 hours.

  5. Also. I talked to a guy about a new rifle for the deer season, These were brand new. He had a clearance sale, and firm prices on his site. After some back and fourth I ended up buy two new guns, (TC Impact Muzzle loader and a Weatherby Vanguard Sub MOA) for an awesome deal at below his final firm price, with the understanding that I wouldn't tell anyone what price I got them for.

I can hardly wait to sight these in. He at first said no to my offer, but then we went back and fourth a bit and ended up buying 2 instead of one. He was happy, I was happy, deal done. If he had of told me to piss off with my offer from the begining than I would have bought from someone else....

Just sayin....To each there own. Just not usually a good idea to piss off even a low baller, they may just be pking for your actual low price. I listed a boat for sale on here with a firm price. I got several lower offers, and to each one, I negotiated back, ok, but I am taking this off or that off the boat etc... In the end I still have the boat and am happy it hasn't sold. :) SO if you wanna keep your goods, a firm price is the best way to do that.

    Update #9

    Thu, 22 Sep 2011 10:01:35 PM EDT

As of 9:30 p.m. EDT Sept. 22, 2011, the orbit of UARS was 110 mi by 115 mi (175 km by 185 km). Re-entry is possible sometime during the afternoon or early evening of Sept. 23, Eastern Daylight Time. The satellite will not be passing over North America during that time period. It is still too early to predict the time and location of re-entry with any more certainty, but predictions will become more refined in the next 24 hours.

  7. I already calculated the odds on it landing on my ex wife, and I figure I am better off hoping it lands on my crappy car. :) Why wouldn't they(The They being the US govt or Nasa) use this as an opportunity to try and shoot it out of the sky with some rockets... you know in case the real big one comes.
