The thinniner and lighter the line the further it will cast, as there is less resistance and weight. Also the smooth the line the further it will cast. the better the reel the further it will cast. Better guides etc... lots of factors to consider.

Power Pro for me as well. All my baitcasters have 50 pound accept for the crank bait rod. It has 15 pound mono. The spinning rods all have 20 pound power pro. The only acception is my frog rod, it has 65 pound PP and its a spinning rod.Yes a spinning rod for a frog rod. I like the extra distance on my frog setup. I tried going with a baitcaster but I like the extra distance to cast beyond the lilly pads. The longer the cast for a frog rod the better as far as I am concerned.

Yes they got the touch down in the end but its a completly different game if that catch is made. A sure thing? No.

Clearly that one dropped pass was the turning point in the game. If that catch is made they burn the clock down. It was catchable. and when you drop a catchable pass in the superbowl with the clock winding down its hard to have that go un noticied. It was a good pass, and a good play. It was in his hands. He wasn't even entirely presured on the pass either. It will go down as the play that gave it away. Never mind the 50 yard miracle on the sidelines. It was that 25 yard dropped pass that will stand out to me that determined the game. He had three guys around hime but none were even looking at him. he was in a pretty big pocket. I thin kbrady threw it a bit behind him, but that catch has to get made. That play was going for him from the snap. Brady didn't even fake or look anywhere accept at welker.

I am not saying he is bad, but that was a bad bad miss.

Thats why wilson put him on the ice. If a guy has 2 goals and there is an empty net, he is on the ice for one reason. I doubt very much there has ever been a time where a guy with 2 goals has NOT been on the ice at some point if and where the other teams goalie gets pulled. I don't fault grabo for that one bit.

Last nights game was pretty dissapointing, but if someone asked me at the begining would I take 1 point against the pens, I would say yes in a heartbeat. It is dissapointing the way they lost but what can you do. The pens are a better team. I think one of the bright spots was Gustavson pretty much playing save for save against fleury.

I think I would rather keep my money in my pocket than pay someone at a branch to sit there when I never go, and when I do go I am severly dissapointed every time.

Well, I made a decision to stop feeding the monkeys at the bank my 15 dollars a month. I have switch to ING. They have a free chequing account, even get free cheques, unlimited debit transactions. Any bank drafts or money orders... yep they courier them to you. No need for a normal bank account... They even give you interest on your balance, and no fees for anything.

So I go in to BMO today to cancel my account, and yep they couldn't do it because its the end of the month and the monthly fee hasn't been fully processed yet. Nice, so I gotta go back in tomorow

They have a fairyl tough scedule in Feb. Jan was supposed to be the easier part of the schedule but they sure stunk it up. TRhey have

Pits Back to back this week, Ottawa, Edmonton twice, Winnipeg, Phili, Montreal, Calgary, Vancouver, Jersey, Sanjose, Washington, FLorida and chicago.

They have a few dogs, in Edmonton, Winnipeg and Ottawa...

So what say you? Are they in a playoff spot or not at the end of the month...

I am going tounfortunatly call this a bad month for the leafs and they will be out of a playoff spot by the end of Feb.

I like them to split pitsburg, beat ottawa on the road as ottawa is on a back to back, win against Edmonton and Peg, lose against Phili and Mtl, sweep calgary and edmonton, lose to vancouver Jersey and sanjose, and win against wash florida, with a loss to Chicago.

Thats 8-7 for the month including Tuesdays game.I think they will be right on the edge as they are. I don't predict a major fall, but I just don't see them gaining ground with this scedule.
