One down one to go. These are the most important games of the season. If they win tomorrow they are in good shape to weather the next two games against boston.

Is that the quickest to thaw in that area?

Hey guys, I am selling my boat and a few people want to run it in the water does anyone know a free or cheap boat launch somewhere between lake simcoe and GTA that is open with water? I was thinking maybe something in one fo the harbours, but not sure if there slips are open or ice free.

I had to make a wrench to get mine out a long time ago. took a spanner and cut it on a 45 and welded it back together. still have it today haha. I think you may be able to get it by removing the exhuast manifold.

Same, I will always stop and offer assistance if there is a breakdown and situation doesn't appear to present any danger to me. I don't mind helping to change a flat, block traffic, push a car out of the way etc... If it looks like someone needs help its the human thing to call 911. If noone is there you should stop even if you don't know what you are doing. 911 will help you if there is a real bad situation. Most of all I would stop because if the roles were reversed i would want someone to stop to help me or my kids, or family or friends etc... I am sure all of you would to. Of course in the situation where you are told to continue on or your assistance isn't needed its best to follow the advice of te profesionals.

Just picked up a GL2 flipping stick and it is plenty light and stout. They can be had if wheel and deal for around the 160 mark new... thats what I paid and I really like it mated up with the chronarch E. looks and feels great. Can hardly wait to get it on the water.

He is waiting to see if he sells or buys. If he buys and gets anything other than a goalie or a center he wasted money. Its clear this is what the leafs need to everyone with eyes. I heard an interesting rumour that ovechkin may be on the block to be traded in the summer and coul dbe had for a bag of pucks if anyone is willing to eat that enormous contract. If the leafs go for a goalie, I wold think Miller, Luongo and Brizgeloff could all be on the block.

Hell no, but if they drop these two to coming up against tampa and buffalo that back to back against boston will be the end of the season if they don't win. 500 over the next 4 puts keeps them in a good spot to be buyers fo the deadline. 4 losses and they are gonna consider selling.

Here is my tip of the day. if you want casting distance think about the friction. I spool my reels up with just enough line so that the line is just barely touching the top of the reel line guide. This usually means about half the spool is filled, but I have never needed more when bass fishing. When musky fishing thats a bit different. I fyou fill it up you line will have a big presure point when its its full. Go look at it and you will see.

I thin kwe are at that point in the year where the mid season scedule is critical. The leafs have Buffalo and Tampa back to back then they play boston twice in a row. The leafs can't afford to drop the next two and need these wins. There will be 15 games left after these next 4 and fortuately none more against boston. If the leafs can win 2 of the next 4 I would be very optimistic. If they drop 3 of the next 4 I think its going to look grim. After these 4, they play 11 games against teams below them in the standings. They shold be able to play .500 and still make the playoffs. The games against Phili, Islanders, rangers and tampa are most critical. Those are the temas lookin up at the leafs gunning for a play off spot.

The jointed rapala's and spinners are must have's. We normally bring worms up as a tough day backup but we forgot them last year.

You might want to wait and see whats hatching. The last 3 years we have seen crazy variations up on our lake for the opener. 2 years ago there was ice on the shaded bays, 3 years ago we were wearing tshirts and shorts, last year if I recall the bugs were out in full glory but not biting yet. (neither were the fish) Give 3 or 4 weeks before you finalize your selection.

Hockey and ice fishing season is over lapped and followed by crappie, then turkey hunting, then trout, then walleye, then bass and musky, then deer hunting, then ice fishing.... repeat. Fortunately there Is only a small gap between ice season and crapoie. That is filled with hockey warching and fishing toy playing.

I tried watching baseball once.

Bass will do the same. I was fishing for Musky with a 14" hard body and I cuaght a 7 inch bass. Use the leader and lure of your choosing and pick the water you want. If you know musky are in the area then try and be ready to release one as quick as you can. f you hit musky after musky move on. It would also help to curse a bit if you catch a musky... (Gosh dang these slimy snot torpedoes, I hate musky, kill them all) Then toss it back with a frustrated look on your face and threaten to stab it in the head with your fillet knife if it comes near your spinner bait one more time. That should satisfy the mnr that you are a pike fisherman.

I would almost rather them just walk off the ice and the game end in a tie rather than do a shoot out to reward an extra point.

Yah its a tough one. I am totally fine with a 2 for the win, nothing for the loss. or 3 for the win in OT/reg 2 for a shootout win and 1 for a ot/shootout loss. Lots of ways to slice it but as it stands I really don't like how the current system rewards losing as much as it does.
