  2. Yep. That's too funny. The slip with the boat that has the red canvas top was where I kept my boat. Brian Beaumler...when he was building a G Bay cottage for his TV show...used to keep his boat right behind mine. Sarah Richardson had her place just up the bay from my cottage. On some days it seemed like all the HGTV personalities were hanging out there..lol. And even Chris, who owns the marina, had a career in film and TV production, before he switched gears and came back to settle down in his hometown. The place was like friggin' Hollywood North...hehe

  4. Multi species, Crowman. I have only recently gotten back into fishing (2 years ago) after spending most of the last several years hunting. Right now, I like the variety. I probably catch smallies and pike more than anything else. I will look for a spot lock.

  5. Not sure how you fish, but I wouldn't get a Fortrex simply because it doesn't have Spot Lock. I don't know how I could fish without it ..lol. I had a PowerDrive several years ago, the pedal was so unreliable that I ended up taking a spare with me on an extended trip up north. Good riddance.

  6. fortrex needs a front fishing platform. The OP's boat is a bow rider from what I understand. i.e. no ability to easily keep the pedal right close to the fortrex.

  7. Not sure what your budget is...but Cabela's has the Terrova 80 on sale for $1999....that's almost $700 off the regular price. Plus compared to used, you get a warranty. However, I believe it comes with the mini-remote (no LCD screen)..if you don't like it, you can always upgrade later. You don't see many used Terrova 80's on the market...and if you do they command a premium price. Mine's been bulletproof, except for a seal incident from my grandkids fishing line...
