limeyangler Posted November 12 Report Posted November 12 Hi all, Some smaller lakes have some ice here now but its warming up this weekend again, probably at least 2 weeks before ice up here. I am getting my last few fishing fixes from shore here, walleye and pike, got out for 1/2 hour a couple of days ago (seems its dark again two hours after the day begins!), could only cast for pike as the below freezing temps don't work too well for slip bobber walleye, at least I got some bites 😀. The pike are feeding pretty good and loving the Drifter Tackle 'Hell Hound', nice subsurface walk the dog action and it is slow sinking so suspends nicely, lots of bites coming on the pause with a slow twitch/retrieve. 3
