Iggy Posted May 19, 2022 Report Posted May 19, 2022 Decided to make 2 trips this year 4 of us in June at the main lodge and our regular outpost trip with 10 guys in August. Looking forward to slaying the Blue Walleye Â
Tomcat Posted May 19, 2022 Report Posted May 19, 2022 Can you please share what the walleye harvest length limit is at 10 mile lodge?
Iggy Posted May 19, 2022 Author Report Posted May 19, 2022 Anything over 12 inches but we don't keep them that small anyway

I flew in back in the day before a road, on the 11th of June, and it was wicked, but late June not sure. Doesn't matter, in the camp and in the boat the blackflies leave you alone.  In August, there are no bug issues except just at sunset with mosquitoes, and they don't bother me much.Â
akaShag Posted May 20, 2022 Report Posted May 20, 2022 It was early June I was thinking of, but yes late June you will be swarmed by mosquitoes at sunset I am sure....
Iggy Posted May 20, 2022 Author Report Posted May 20, 2022 Our first trip up is June 27Â Thermocells all fired up
Iggy Posted July 9, 2022 Author Report Posted July 9, 2022 Well we made it, brought out our limit and had a big fish fry. Fishing was a little tougher than usual. I'm not sure if high water levels affect fishing but they were extremely high. I'd say we caught between 150 and 175 between the 4 of us. Going back in August.

Going back in August. 150 plus fish for four guys for a week strikes me as pretty darned good! And yes, I am guessing that high water would affect the fishing pretty much anywhere.
Iggy Posted July 9, 2022 Author Report Posted July 9, 2022 It's not bad but last year, although later in the summer, we did a little betterÂ
