Fishing spots close to Markham area

Just moved recently to Markham. ON. and i wonder if any of the members could guide me for good fishing spots here on the east side. around an hour driving. or less from Markham . Thanks in advance

Bluffers Park, rouge river down by the lake, Rice Lake Bewdley, Lake Simcoe, just to name a few. Simcoe is very close to you so try there first, take a drive and take your rod with you assuming you are fishing from shore. Maybe tell us what you like to fish for and how long you have been fishing.
