the town of port hope has plans to erect parts of the eating guide at the cleaning station and around parts of the river , this is just one of many steps that are to be taken to educate people fishing the river as well as many new bylaws that have been put in place after last years mess that port hope had to clean up and take many a phone calls . I think this may be the only town that is educating fishermen what they can safely eat
