Growing the Green Belt to protect urban rivers

I had the pleasure of discussing this matter with both the Minister of Natural Resources and Minister of Municipal Affairs and Housing 4-5 years ago and with the help of many other conservation groups the seeds have grown to this.

 

This act will provide further protection to our river valleys to maintain green space, minimize impacts and development in the valley and allow our rivers to return to a greater state of health. And more wild fish!
