Seasonal trailer parks.

My wife and I are in the process of looking at buying a park model trailer and setting it up in a park in the Kawarthas. We are looking for a family oriented park with lots of kid activities (we are raising our 3 year old grandson) We originally wanted to be located on either Upper Buckhorn,Pigeon & Chemong. We're interested in knowing if anyone has any recommendations for any parks in the Kawarthas?

Here's a link to the Ontario Private Campground Association website. You can search for campgrounds by area. They show all the amenities and rate the parks. The kawarthas is Region 8 on their website.

I've heard a lot of good things about Skyline RV Resort on Chemon. I've never been there but it's on the top of my list to visit.

I'd take a day and visit a bunch of them and speak to the owners and also to a few of the campers there. Get a good look at the facilities and see what they have to offer.
