aniceguy Posted March 18, 2007 Report Share Posted March 18, 2007 Picked up a lowrance unit today and for the life of me I cant recall how to get it to install the various charts of my 901 chip. I recall having the same issue with my h20 and got it solved but for the life of me I cant remember. CDNfish Posted March 19, 2007 Report Share Posted March 19, 2007 Make sure the plotter is the active window by hitting the pages button twice. Hit menu twice, scroll down to mapping data. Select the Navionics Map you want from the drop down and hit enter. This is from memory so it might be slightly different. Jigatollah Posted March 19, 2007 Report Share Posted March 19, 2007 Check to see if the card is a MMC or SD card. If it's a MMC card, it's a bit thinner than the SD card and won't open to read sometimes. I solved this by putting a few pieces of electrical tape on the chip that is held down by the tab inside the GPS. Jigatollah Posted March 19, 2007 Report Share Posted March 19, 2007 I had the same issue with my gps when I put in my hot maps chip for the Muskoka's. Once you locate the appropriate map in the menu, press enter and it will load up. If all else fails, Lowrance can help you out over the phone.
