brandon Posted November 16, 2010 Report Posted November 16, 2010 (edited) I went back to Ojibway Park in Windsor today to try and get some more Deer photos. I was hoping to find the big buck from last time, and I did, however when I saw him I was mid conversation with some people that had some photography questions. By the time the convo was over, the deer was out of sight. I walked to where I thought he might be and ended up finding a smaller guy that didn't mind posing for a photo....here he is Small White-tailed Deer by bbroderick86, on Flickr Edited November 16, 2010 by brandon
danc Posted November 17, 2010 Report Posted November 17, 2010 Nice one Brandon. One thing that I couldn't help but notice is how close together the rack is above the deers head. I mean those things are growing straight up like weeds. On the Deer that I see around here, the antlers grow out approx 45 degrees from the head. Different species perhaps?
brandon Posted November 17, 2010 Author Report Posted November 17, 2010 It may be a different subspecies but I think it's just a non-typical buck
