Onaping Lake

Hey guys and gals.. on the road again and this time up to Onaping Lake.. past Sudbury ont with a couple buddies who go to school in Sudbury..

was wondering if any one has ever been, as well if you have any suggestions?

 

I'll be mainly goin for Walleye, and pike.. maybe the odd Smallie.. but was wondering what to fish up there, as well as what works best up there?

i've driven past it a bunch of times on my way to gogama, but never fished it. I imagine it would be very similar to fishing the mattagami. Worm harnesses, jigging with worms should work when it's calm. Trolling minnowbaits if it's windy worked for us. Pick the wind blown side of the lake and points to troll.
