Mattones Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 My father and his friend agreed to both sign up so myself and his daughter could do the test and get it. My father did it that night which was a month ago and she passed. Now I'm here asking every other day if his friend has signed up yet and he still hasent. gahh
boatman Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 That sucks. I'm signed up as a supervisor. If your friend can't do it drop me a line and I can supervise for you. I'm in Hamilton.
POLLIWOGG Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 Our local power squadron is going to have one night a month for those who wish to challenge the exam. You could check and see what your local squadron is doing. Or you could just sign up your dog, cat, bird or imaginary friend as a supervisor.
fisher Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 Or you can call up BoaterExams.com (I think that is their name) and ask where they will be setting up a booth next and take the exam with them. The had a booth at the Exhibition for the duration of the fair and I have also recently seen them set up near Bay and Front in Toronto. If you pass, you pay and they will issue you your Card. - If you fail, you don;t pay. Simple and no risk .
POLLIWOGG Posted September 10, 2009 Report Posted September 10, 2009 Pay if you pass is good but power squadrons can't do that because it's against the rules for card providers.
