In the past I've passed up many opportunities to take macro photos so last week I purchased a Canon 60 mm f2.8 macro lens. WOW is all I can say. Not only can you take some pretty cool photos with a macro lens, but you also gain so much more appreciation for the tiny world at our feet that we normally wouldn't think to look at. So for that alone, the purchase was worth it. I'll start with the other photos first and leave the macro shots till the end.....enjoy
