How does rain effect crappie fishing ?

We have had about an inch and a half of rain here and I was just wondering how that effects the crappie fishing ?

 

I know they were biting the last few days, so will this turn them off ?

 

The rain has now stopped and its suppose to get nicer later this afternoon

I can remember the Monday after opening last year was miseable, cold, wet from rain and sleet but was the best crappie day we had...nothing but slab after slab...a small one was a rarity...never saw a day like it before...

Ive caught crappie in the rain, sleet, sunshine, wind, clouds etc.

 

I havent found weather to make a big difference, mostly just time

awsome !!! the sun is out shining now and we are going to be headin out shortly ! Aparently they are biting just before sunset!

This time of the year crappies will usually bite at everything over there heads, whatever the weather .
