Any fish in Lake Wilcox in Aurora area?

Just wonder if anyone fish there before ..

 

would like to know if it is wader-accesable and if there are fish

As long as I can wade in from somewhere, it is ok with me.

 

I would like to know if there are "sinking muds" or "nasty smelly weeds" to stop me from wading around.

in the winter i see people ice fishing for pike there

the fishing there is pretty good, i've been once from a canoe and only for 2 hours and i can tell you this there are some monster large mouth in there caught 4 over 4 pounds and 1pike around the 30" mark. but please lets keep this a catch and release lake as there is alot of WHITE BUCKETS there
