Power Pro Shelf Life?????

I wouldnt mind buying a spool or 2 of the 1500 yrd 80 or 100# Power Pro. I have 6 reels that I would use it on.

 

BUT.....if I buy that size spool, does it have a shelf life? Does anyone know?

I'm not sure about shelf life but I still have PowerPro spooled on a few of my reels since 1999/2000. Still going strong.

It does lose it's colour with use, but I have unused five year old Power-pro that is as good as new.

I dont think it has a expiry date, but if you want to be safe keep in a cool dark place similar to keeping mono fresh and new, the beer fridge in my garage is where I keep my mono

 

I got 2 1500 yard spools 30# and 80# off ebay from a tackle store in florida for $157.30 shipped to my door taxes and duty included pretty good deal
