in-line fuel filter

hey guys,

quick question.

i got a '89 60hp merc. 2 stroke with a fixed tank on the boat. just replaced the fuel line but was wondering if its a good idea to put in a in-line fuel filter?

I've just installed one a month ago and it works great.

I've got the Racor one as been on of, if not the best out there.

Have both my motors feeding through it and this should help prevent problems with ethanol/water in the gas.
