Downrigger Search

I am looking to purchase a Downrigger for my bro-inlaw.

Looking to spend up to $80.00

Any suggestions???

 

We have never used one, so we're not to sure about the products out there.

I think for $80 you will get a rope with a rock tied on the end of it

 

For anything even close to that price it will have to be a manual crank, and I believe even the scottys will start around 150 for one that is even worth getting

Mgrieve, go to the classified section of this board and pose your question there. I have no doubt you can pick up a decent Cannon Sport troll or Easy Troll for that price. Including the Canonball.
