  1. Thanks for the heads up on this amazing deal, I took a drive to my local store (Kitchener) and they were tagged at $96.94, but when I mentioned about price matching the Hamilton store I got it for $79.84. I paid more than that for my Little Buddy heater a few years back.
  2. Welcome to the site As mentioned above a few of the local GRCA lakes offer ice fishing, I know Belwood Lake (Fergus) and Island Lake (Orangeville) used to rent huts the main target being pike but being new to ice fishing I would suggest taking the 2hr drive to Lake Simcoe and targeting perch (more action to keep interest)
  3. Done, like others have said there's a lot of good photos
  4. Way to go Jack and dad, that's what its all about.
  5. I'd be interested in going Saturday. I'm from the k-w area and would like the company for the drive down.
  6. Shade's Mills in Cambridge has icefishing once they have ice (that could be a while) If you've never been before it may be better to tag along with someone for the day.
  7. I got my equipment all ready, even the new Xmas gifts just waiting for ice. Would like to make it out before returning to work (hopefully this weekend). I don't even mind doing the drive up north just need a co pilot.
  8. I wouldn''t want to drive any distance in the middle of winter with my trunk half opened, besides the fact of trying to squeeze it in and out at the beginning and end of your trips. The 2 man flip is the way to go if you have a machine to pull it, but pulling them out on the ice with any amount of snow sucks. I know this isn't what you want to hear but I'd sell it and buy a hub style hut.
  9. I like this thread and support Canadian made as much as possible, I'm a little puzzled by the few comments that seem to think it dosen't matter. Especially the one that questions the human right issues from China.
  10. Another option is the south end for pike, there's some big ones in there.
  11. Good luck with John, when we went he took us to a spot for walleye in the evening about 1hr before sunset.
  12. I went out with John Harding a couple of years ago, did well, he'll put you on fish, check out his page at temagamiicefish.com
