The bright glow in the bottom left of the pic from a city or town street lights etc try taking that pic here or where your at Brian it's all just a glow might get a star or two but nothing like that

Nice shots BTW cool when the dew is on them BTW if no dew you can always use a spray bottle to make it look like that I've never tried infact that my first spider web

Yea flies of some sort Only flies i saw down low were deer flys and mosquitoes not sure if they were midges or not just looked like smoke comming off the trees If there out again i'll pop my 18mm on and show what they looked like
