I am just paying out of pocket cause I am not one to have someone pay for something that is a mystery to me -
so I have been told by 4 different dealers that if you are trolling along and you run over a stick and your prop just pushes it down it is enough to bend your prop shaft and destroy your lower unit ... I don't make this crap up just passing info off to anyone who wishes to buy a murcruy 9.9 pro kicker ...

nope not a chance no one drives my boat. every .. its brand new lol.
-
no motor always trimmed up and out of water... was talking to another dealer to buy a new motor he wanted pictures and I sent them to him.. he says more damage to top of lower unit then the bottom... so it looks like it started from the top.. warped flywheel ? who knows.

I have had 4 carb put on it .. and never touched a thing. I am not even cirtified to use a screwdriver

Got word from dealer that my lower end is totally destroyed inside . they want me to file a claim because they are not going to cover it under warranty saying I hit something causing it to grenade there is not a single mark on prop or skag or any other marks of the lower unit . how does one call the insurance company and say hey can you cover my motor I don't know what happed but dealer says I hit something
-
there saying that seeing I have had 4 new carbs that it could be a carbon build up causing low compression ... does this make sense ??
-
that's what dealer is saying but Mercury says not till below 60.... I think mercury is trying to see if it goes after warrantee ... I will no more on Monday afternoon.... ps this thing has already had 4 carbs on it ... and from talking to people I am not even certified to hold a screw driver lol. if carbs sucked air during break-in then that means it ran lean and can burn your pistons ??
-
the dealer is getting 115 and 121 on a 2021 with 20 hours on it ruffly ... there is a long story behind this motor...
-
does anyone here know what compression should be on a 2021 mercury pro kicker 4 stroke carbarator . I can't find specks on this

Yes those numbers are inflated big time .. I have argued those numbers for years... its a real long story .. but lets just say I have over 40 years of working at ladder and this is one of my biggest arguments with the MNRF. ...

some policies say "replacement value will now be known throughout the rest of policy as actual cash value at the time of the loss or theft". make sure replacement value is actually replacement value..... and when doing your house MAKE DAM SURE YOU HAVE BYLAW AND ORDANACE
