for those who don't know, i just started fly fishing a week ago . So i'm really not in the process of tying my own flies, so i went to canadian tire yesterday then a local fly shop to pick up some flies, which ones are good to use and is the price decent? i bought the whole 12 pack for $5.99+tax and the other 2 for $4.06 Thanks =]

Hi~ so um..i just started fly fishing last week, i've been out for 2 times along credit river. Didn't have much luck other than some small minnows and a baby smb, does any one know what's the best fly to use right now? i just used som random ones i picked up at a local fly shop. And also, i've been looking for a fly tying kit with the vise and everything, but they are kinda expensive, does anyone know where i could get a set for a good deal? Thanks =]

it was raining the day before, so the water was really muddy and the fishing was SLOW =S only caught 3 bass from 7am to 3 pm any1 have any ideas of what kind of lure i should use for muddy water? or what spot i should be fishing on a lake when the water is muddy? Thanks

Went out today for some pike , was gonna leave at 6 but my buddy woke up late so we left almost an hour after... got to the spot around 8 : 30 fished till 12 had 6 strikes, landed 5, all pike my friend had 4, landed 3 LM bass and 1 pike

yeaa i thought i had it in my bag..but no

got to the lake around 7 in the morning, was on the canoe at 7:30 caught a lm bass after 20 minutes , then it was all pikes after that, the two of us got 8 pikes and a bass, no monster tho, ranges from a pounds to 5 pounds on our way here's a litttle guy gonna let them go so they could grow bigger =D and um..of course...the sun burn..

Hi everyone, i went to BPS today and bought a bag of these soft plastic gobies i think it was on sale mainly because of the package... althought it didn't show it was on sale when they scaned it at the check out which i didn't notice until i got home but um..anyways has anyone used these before? i 'm thinking of using them for pike with a flaping jig , would that work? (it's the bag in the lower right corner of the pic)

yea..it was only 10lbs
