  1. And here is where a lot of the new 2008 regs came from for Lake Trout. Note they still use the wordage "BAG LIMIT" in the document. http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/MNR/fishing/fmz/p...out_toolkit.pdf
  2. BINGO - every natural lake and put and take lake in Ontario http://www.mnr.gov.on.ca/MNR/EBR/lake_trout/lakes.pdf
  3. Go here http://www.temagamistewardship.ca/ and double click on archives. Tabs on "book" cover stocking in Temagami area lakes.
  4. I have the entire list of lakes in the Temagami area that are stocked... but of course it's pinned up beside my 9 x 50,000 charts on the hall wall in the cottage... so I can look at which one I'm headed for next. I'll keep pokin around. Nothing else to do with the wife in TO.

  7. Yep... renovating something ! LOL
  8. Most of it's pretty easy reading Don... we just lost a lot of opportunities for no scientific/biological reason is all. Been talking with some up North and they're already considering closing their outfits up for the winter.... as it's not worth the effort to stay open from now 'till Feb 15th... if they're only going to get a month of Laker season.
  9. Just to add: AND THE ONLY ONE IN ZONE #11 is LAKE TEMAGAGMI.
  10. What pool ! I have Dec 12th that a key employee within our plastics plant gets turfed...but other than that?
  11. I say it wasn't you that told me the answer! LOL
  12. Yep... I'm sure she'll use the empty box to wrap your crying towel ! LOL
  13. HEY... see if I let my wife talk to you on the phone again for THREE hours.... when she's supposed to be shovelling snow! LOL
  14. You payin the heat bill or your landlord? I'm afraid you may just be a tad short on insulation..and/or ventilation in that attic. You're closer Cliff and the new lad in her bad books... get at'r!
  15. Hit refresh Cliff... they'll be gone for you as well !
  16. UMMM forgot about that ! LOL
  17. Hey now! What did I ever do to you. I"m gonna have to take you off my sweety list....
  18. HAHAHAHA Thanks Dave ! ..and TJ you sore looser you! LOL
  19. Yep.. first thing I noticed Paul and knew it was coming. Lake T was the only lake up there with the (un-scientifically proven) one month season for lakers. It was easier for the MNR to make every lake the same than to write exceptions for every lake it appears. Don't understand it myself, nor do any in the North. There is no shortage, that I could see on my LCX-112 from May to October, of Lake Trout in Temagami !
  20. Didn't see that one ie "live". There is a new restriction on SOME lakes for live or dead bait to be less than 5.1". Didn't see anything that said you couldn't fish with live bait thru the ice. Must have missed it in the preface at the beginning...if it's fact and not relayed incorrect info.
  21. You may not wanna know Andy! May scar you for life!
  22. Great stuff animal ! Die hard for sure !
  23. ...just noticed I can no longer fish when I go up to the lake at ice out. Generally I would hit the back bays and steam outlets for ice out pike since season WAS open all year. It now appears in Zone 11... that covers everything from the Algonquin Parks North Border to New Liskerard... Pike are only open Jan 1 to the 3rd Sun in March and then open again on Walleye opener 3rd Saturday in May. That leaves me with a week I can't fish. Hope Leah packs some extra "lounge wear" for that week! LOL
