lol.. One hit my float last weekend and it snapped in half.. (or at least SOMETHING hit my float) I've only had a few hits on my actual line... lol The one I hooked into with the spinner felt very much like my 21lb chinny, almost stronger..

It was a joke... Its the internet... And I was doing it in response to Stoneflys 35lb'r.... geez.... I'm glad I didn't draw any marshmellows into that picture or crap really would have hit the fan..

I find it much more rewarding getting skunked Steelheading then I do getting skunked bassin.. Its really difficult to get skunked bassing I find.... Yet all I hear is FALL FEEDBAG.... and we tossed our entire arsenal at them and didnt even get a hit... Steelheading is just pure fun Awaiting the freight train hit on your float...

Another question.. (Yes I have lots lol) I recently bought a 10'6 Quantum rod. The action is noodle. Would this suffice for a float reel like a Streamside FL425?

I got a pair of XPS's from Bass Pro for $17.99 with Brown Lenses... They are awesome for seeing in water They make it seem like the sun is setting when looking at the sky. It's cool

lol I spooled the whole pack of mono on the reel and had issues (obviously). I think I'll grab some fly line to put the backing on,. lol. I ended up just switching back to my spinning reel for floating.

How much leader should there be?

I was using 12lb mono, then a micro swivel, to 6lb fluro (Berkley Vanish). I had about 3-4 feet of fluro leader. The shots arent supposed to be on the fluro right?

My dad lent me that machine It seems very 'unstable' though. I think he forgot to give me the bottom piece.

I "think" he was using worms. I think i remember seeing him last week using what looked like Gulp Alive minnows... he hooked into one then too. I've tried spinners, roe bags, single eggs, pink worms, dew worms, charteuse worms...

So I'm 0/8 on outings to Caledonia.... I don't know what I could be doing wrong. I had 1 hit today, missed it, and a second later, the guy beside hooked on, faught for 10 minutes and lost it. A nice one, probably around 24-25" did a nice little U jump about 3 feet from me. It was pretty cool. I was drifting roe bags.. I probably had my sinkers and floats setup wrong. Can anyone who fishes the Caledonia dam alot help me out with the best rig to use? I am starting to get very demotivated. :(

Hey Guys. I am having a very hard time tying my own bags, and was wondering if anyone knew of a place In Brantford or close to Brantford that sells pre tied roe bags. I'm planning on going out relatively soon so any help would be appreciated.
