  1. Went out in the new boat today it was only a 45 min trip because I had the wife and my boy Kaleb with me .With 30k west winds Long point bay was a little angry but the family toughed it out so I could atleast get a quick ride in we had 3-4' waves and the new Lund handled it no problem (if ya have ever fished the bay you know what 3-4'ers are like really bad chop)we ended up doing 39.9mph on the HDS7 and had lots of throttle left was really impressed I didn't think it would be that peppy with a 90hp on it anyways here's your boat porn Merc :wallbash:

  2. Just wondering if any of this tackle caught fish last year. It is almost a year later.

    What worked the best?

I have some lures i bought 10 yrs. ago i still haven't used.

Soft plastics seem to pile up as well.

This spring just bought marabou crappie jigs, thats it.

The spinnerbaits all caught fish and the wake baits are awesome caught bass and pike on them the swim baits I didn't give them a real good go yet but they will get used more this year.Oh and both frogs were thrashed from lots of bass and a few pike and I have bought more since.

  3. One of our customers is the Toyota Cambridge plant; rumour is drive train components sourced in Japan are running low and the plant could runout in the less than 2 weeks.

This artcile seems to confirm this is coming - and not just to Japanese models......My link although they will be affected the most....

Rumors at the woodstock plant is 2 weeks in april but nothing is confirmed all just speculation pretty sure it's coming just hope it's not to long .

  4. send me your garbage that you "pitched" lol

Trust me I don't throw it away until it's garbage most was old plastics and trashed spinner baits (I do alot of pike fishing) and bags of plastics that only have 1-2 baits left in it .

Bucktail we want to see what's in the tackle boxes not just the boxes :whistling:

  5. Thanks! I read the rules on the first link YOU posted and it says nothing about insurance. I've never done a tournament but I thought most require a special type of insurance.

Thats all the info I had. I am not a member of the club, so all I can tell you is what is on their site.I have never been checked for insurance at a tourney

  6. They ship with a oil to prevent corrosion but I don't know how long that would last :dunno: I would take it to get looked at before handing over the $$$ might cost a few bucks but it's better than having a brand new 140hp anchor
