  8. I have small shallow lake close to the cottage, we portage in there once or twice a year in the Spring! There is a abundance of Pike in there a whole lot of hammerhandles but a few in the 30's. If you go in June or later hard to get anything. This year when we went, my one buddy throws a Chartuese Mepps # 5 and I a black orange, he contunally catches fish I try a pile of others and nothing works, even others chartuese ones. He out fishes like 25 to 5 on the day?? I now have a few of those in the box!! Happy fishing
  9. I Seond the Sahara, had one for a cuple of years, works great!!!
  10. I use small crank bait's they work wonders, minnow or crawfish immitations seems to be the best. As well spinners are good, I have mostly caught s-bass!! Have fun!!
  11. I mostly use a trebles for in-line spinners, rarely use a single. I find fish tend to throw the trebles when they jump, keep the rod tip down!!!
  12. Try the mouth of the credit, for smallies and pike, I would purchase some simple spinner baites to get you started, they will catch all sorts of species!!! Another suggestion is go down to the Bronte in Oakville same thing there!!
