I often like to fish after a hard days work with my girlfriend and am looking for some good spots to fish in Brampton. I've heard Professors Lake and Heart Lake isn't to bad. I've tried Professors Lake a few times but only caught 1 large mouth there using a spinner and as for Heart Lake I hear you can only go during the day and you have to pay as well. Any info would be greatly appreciated.

Going fishing at the Elora Gorge this weekend for the first time and I was wondering if anyone could advise whats good to use there. I hear there are some nice brown trout, bass and pike there. Could anyone give some tips on fishing the Elora Gorge, whats good to use there or know any hot spots there?

I just bought a cottage on Canal Lake, and I've been hearing some really good things about fishing this lake. Canal Lake is part of the Kawartha Lakes, and closest to Lake Simco. I fished for a brief time while I was there this weekend and caught 4 pounder bass and a medium sizes pike off the dock. I hear there are some nice Muskie lurking this lake as well, has anyone fished this lake and know some hot spots or maybe could share some tips and stories about this area? Thanks in advanced!
