Go Sens Go! But really I don't have high hopes for the Sens this year.

I was driving back from New York and noticed that a lot of the leaves have suddenly started to change. With the turn of the seasons do you change the way you fish? How are your tactics different, different bait, locations?

Let's have a quick look at reality. If you are in north america, and call the customer service of an international business company, the chances of you speaking to someone in north america is pretty low. Most of these jobs are bveing outsourced to India and other parts of Asia. The joke is funny because..well..it's true...all these customer service people have English as a second language so it's not going to be perfect... and well..it can be frustrating getting by the accent when you have at technical problem..like I had with my Linksys wireless modem..and my service agent was in the Phillipines!

I do most of my fishing at the Petrie Island area....you may have to be creative to get to spots that arent already being fished or over-pressured but plenty of 5 pound Bass are caught there.

But just to make it clear I am not affiliated with Kopper's or any other fishing company..I'm just a rookie who is trying various lures out, and when I don't seem to have much luck I like to check the opinion of others to see how they feel about a particulur product. I never caught anything after a couple of hours on this lure and was questioning the validity for its price..or my own ability to fish..but they sure are detailed and pretty...

Fished skootamata several weeks ago because I felt like Bon Echo was a little crowded...I don't think I have ever seen a lake that said "fish live here" more than skootamata.

just to be clear i lost both the handle and the nut in the water...Plus, I don't need ot convince the wife..I think shes glad I've got a hobby that gives her the chance to splurge!

These are great suggestions....but I am also wondering about the my browning reel itself...im not sure what caused it exactly...but the handle just whipped out and went flying into the water...is this a sign of poor quality or did I just abuse it too much being a rookie

Well busted up my reel trying to get my spinnerbait out of an overhanging tree (I'm like Bill Dance sans the fish). Could you folks kindly suggest a replacement reel in the 50 -100 buck range. Trying to fish Bas, Pike, Walleye.

News Flash - Humanity is destroying all bodies of water, overfishing, polluting and other assinine things. It's only going to get owrse and nobody is doing anything about it.

Always wear mine..but the odd thing is no matter how confident (or ignorant you are), all the personal common sense in the world cant stop the guy in the other boat from ruining your day, or the rock that knocks you out that you didn't know was there when you fell in reaching for your fish.

Yeah..clearly not worthy of a reply...anyway..I guess the intention of the thread missed the point..I should have asked specifically what gear excluding electronics..for example ..xps round hooks, spro frog, footballl jig, rappala pliers..etc..I guess I am curious about the 5 things various members can't live without.

...what 5 things would you have in your box if you could only have 5 things! Anything goes, line,bait,lures etc..
