I live about an hour north of Indianapolis and it has been around 50 degress today and very windy. I have a trip to Temagami planned last week of June. Hopefully this will raise the water there some.

Will be hunting here in Indiana. Taking my 10 year old out next weekend for the youth season. We are both shooting the new Hevi 13 #7 shot this year.

I have booked a trip to the South end of Lake Temagami for the last week in June. I haven't been fishing that long and don't have a lot of bait and I am wondering what I should buy? We will be targeting smallmouth, walleye, northern, whitefish. Basically anything we can catch. Sounds like our best chace for catching fish is smallmouth and someone suggested soft plastics are good up there. I also read that a floating #9 rapala in silver/black is the go to bait up there. What about bait for Walleyes? I will probably get some spoons for Northerns. Any other suggestions?

I hunt with a bow. Have killed around 25 deer here in Indiana using a bow. Have never used it for turkey. Use the gun for that.

Would the French River be wade fishing or could we use a boat?

Some of you may remember me being on here some last summer. I live in Indiana and my wife is from London. I am thinking about taking a trip possibly in June. The plan would be to drop my wife off in London and head North no more than say 7 hours. We would have a boat and would be looking for Walleye, Northern, or Bass. Any suggestions? We would probably be looking at 3-4 days of fishing. Any advice would be greatly appreciated.

I remember you told me you could put me on some good fishing North of London in the fall. I haven't really been on here and haven't really been fishing but I have been hunting. Coming up from Indiana to visit my wifes family and do a little fishing. I was told I could get a licence at Wal-Mart or Canadian Tire. Will I be able to get the outdoors card application there also?

Searching the web it all looks like regular charters. Maybe there are no walk on boats available.

Anyone else have any ideas?

Are there any boats that you can just show up to and fish? My wife is from London and we are coming up for a week in August and one of my buddies in Ohio told me that he had gone out on a big boat where they just take whoever shows up in the morning. Is there anything like that close to London or is just the charters were you need 5 or so guys?

Not sure, my daughter likes catching anything but I just thought it might be nice to be able to eat some fish at camp.

What kinds of bait do you guys use for bluegill up there? Are there any keeper size ones in there?

John, We will actually be out at my inlaws cabin at the Methodist (I think) camp right there in Thamesford. I think I know right where that Tim Hortons is you are talking about. If so we can walk down to that creek or whatever it is their in Thamesford. Thanks for all the info. Are there any crappies or bluegills in any of these places that I might be able to get some kids on? What about a place that I think is called Lakside? My wife has taken the kids swimming there a few times.

Hi all. I am new here and married a Canadian 14 years ago. We are coming up in August from Indiana to visit my wife's parents in London, ON. Most of the time we will be out near Thamesford. Is there any fishing I can do near there? I am not very experienced just looking to fish for anything. Any suggestions? I have no idea where to begin and my relatives up there do not fish.
