    I wouldn't count on anything for sure Rogers will hold the rights and control who gets what.

    This is true most of these small channels if you will and their "junk" programming are included in packages they are forced on you and by the way you already pay a little extra each month to subsidize these channels, And if you want TSN you have to upgrade your pkg equaling more dollars and on and on it goes. I heard the pick your channel announcement too And the skeptic in me says the CRTC will not let these little "cultural channels die" and again the cable and satellite providers will fight tooth and nail to protect their revenue stream. Can you remember the last time the government did something that improved your service and saved you money???????.........................me either!!!

    No I don`t think it will go the pay per game route, but I believe there will be some sort of package put forth i.e the Canadian package for xxx amount of $$$$ per month...you`ll still get your HNIC broadcast and call me cynical but I believe if you want more you`ll be paying more. I have not yet seen a cable or satellite provider give their customers more for less quite the opposite in fact.

    I am a skeptic just heard all the interviews and propaganda and I don't buy it for one second I don't believe Rogers will give their customers more for less. I believe there will be some sort of Sportsnet hockey package be it regional or national and I bet it will cause your cable bill to increase.

    Sold my snowblower with my house last year and moved into a apartment, don`t worry about snow,the furnace,the roof,the pipes,the a/c, the taxes, the mortgage anymore!!!

    Nascar has been a big waste of time since the man in black passed and Rusty and DW retired and Wnston dropped sponsorship!!!! And I am sure Roger`s has a plan in place to rearrange their packages to squeeze every last dollar they can from you!!!

    because Bell, Roger`s evil twin brother will have to buy the right to broadcast NHL from Rogers so I am guessing you`ll be looking at a new package of some sort to watch hockey. They are spending 5.2 billion so I am guessing there is a strategy in place to rape their customers.

    On the brite side they were only modestly outshot and didn't give up 40 plus shots....if Reimer would have stood on his head the Leafs might have won this game in a shoot out!!!!! Tough sched coming in early December better shape up.

    Different strokes for different folks I guess, I can`t imagine sitting in a freezing cold boat in December 15 pound walleye or not!!!! And there was a severe weather warning for the area yesterday calling for 40 km winds gusting to 60 from the northwest so I don`t know.

    First let me say I am glad that everybody survived the accident. This does how ever reinforce my personal decision to avoid the big water in my 17-6" boat especially this time of year and certainly with weather conditions the way they were yesterday I know my limits and the limits of my boat, was there not a severe weather warning for the area yesterday with winds in the 30-40 range I would think that would produce waves in the 1 to 2 meter range! My boat would never have left the trailer. Call me crazy but when the November winds are blowing and the waves are rolling I am much more comfortable sitting in my lazy boy watching a game!!!
