Sad news. Im going to install a kill switch in my boat and always wear my PFD while solo from this day foreward
-
Lots of bass everywhere in the river, and the odd pike...but it really shines in the fall , winter and spring
-
No worries fellas I already have the card! You can actually get some speed going too when your alone in the canoe haha.
I have a 36 lb on my canoe and when you click it into high gear it really flys

I don't believe he needs anything for a trolling motor...
I got that ticket... Yes you do.

Find rocky points that drop to deep water and jig away.... Always works for me on the French also shallow diving crankbait a at dusk will also produce walleye . Good luck

Okay, that pic, with that caption right below it, is actually rather funny. Or maybe I just have a weird sense of humour.
Lol I thought about it after I posted it......I was talking about simcoe walleye lol

"It's everything every kid in Canada thinks it is and More" way to go Hawks...and as much as it pains me to say it good run Boston... but if I ever spot Marchand or Lucic in a bar I will punch you.

hey if we had been on the french or in the kawarthas i would have had no problem with a fish fry......i just diddnt have the heart. just curious for the serious walleye fishermen out there im pretty shure she was every bit of 28- 30 inches ( i am 6'4") what would a fish like that weigh? my bighest was 26 inches and weighed 7 pounds. ( was caught in september)

Found a bit of time to give lakers a go on simcoe this afternoon. we launced out of oro around 3 and shot across to the south shore of Kempenfelt. We setup pulling big spoons on 2 oz three way rigs in 100fow with 250 ft of line out. not ten min. in a rod goes off. I thought i was going to land my first softwater laker on simcoe.... thing was it wasen't fighing like a laker......halfway to the boat the fish got mixed up in the other line had to sort it out still had the fish on somehow.....get the fish near the boat and realize we dont have the net. great.... Angela reaches over to grab the fish and all i hear is "HE HAS TEEEEETTTHHH" I give her the rod and grab the fish and the hook pops right out. I have no clue how we managed to get it in the boat......enough with the suspence here it is......weird i know.....
it was a long fight with all the crazyness i wanted to get it back in the water asap so there pretty crummy pics but my biggest pickereleye to date...no tape measure no team sign
had a blast out there today no lakers but this one fish made it all worth it.
she went back to swim another day
i know the pattern for these guys in the fall but this about blew my mind.

I talked to bailey about it... My good friends parents are the old owners....they're going to be furious when they find out.
-
I feed my dogs orijin dry food. He eats better than I do. It's a whole prey diet.
-
Any thing and everything.. If he has gear to get lures deep. If not I'm sure there is some places close to shore to catch some pike and bass.
-
" they say you don't see it coming, it just goes black". That show changed tv forever
-
The bass will be fine. Just throw them back in and they will keep on doing there thing.

thanks I added 4.5 inches to the transom when I replaced it. 2 slices of marine ply screwed and glued . I haven't had her out since I posted my question the cav. Plate sits even with bottom of transom.. I might try liftin it up an inch o two and see what happensThe long shaft is likely your problem. You might be able to improve things slightly with different props and different engine angles but the fact is your prop is likely too deep. Try mounting the engine higher...ie. build the transom a couple of inches higher. Not an easy fix but if you want a dramatic improvement you are going to have to raise your motor. Better to be overpowered than underpowered in my opinion as long as the transom can take it.
Good luck and let us know how you make out.
